Two Shot Bella/Rosalie Part 1

She didn’t doubt they would have already left if they hadn’t had seen her hiding in the forest. She probably should have met them sometime before now to make this meeting go a little smoother. For people that really wanted to blend in, they sure stood out.
School had just let out for the day and Bella had been waiting for her cousins to show up. She was sent per her parents request to check in what was happening with the Cullen’s and a particular human that may know too much for her own good. Several of the members had reported concerns with leadership and another member of the coven. Since Bella happened to be staying so close with her mate, her mother’s decided why not send Bella to look into everything?
What Bella hadn’t expected was the blonde woman that looked straight off the runway. She was usually always the first to say her blonde, Tanya, was the hottest woman to have ever walked the Earth but she was seriously tempted to say this woman was tied with her mate. Was that possible? It shouldn’t be; no matter how often Kate begged to differ.
She wanted to say it wasn’t but the woman in front of her told her it wasn’t.
Perhaps she was closer to her parents than she had originally thought. Her parents were a triad, apparently she was meant to be in one as well.
“Hey Cullen’s, mind if I follow you home?” Bella asked from her spot in the woods. No human could see hear her and only her ‘cousins’ could hear her. She loved the power she had, it always amazed the vampires that they weren’t the strongest creatures around. Vampires tended to forget that they weren’t the only supernatural creatures in the world.
The entire coven gave her weird looks, they apparently were confused about what she was. Good, it let her have more fun that way. Too bad Kate wasn’t there to join her; she always made things more interesting.
Bella nodded her head in the direction she already knew where their house was and took off at a leisurely run. It was a good thing she had never been in Alaska when the Cullen’s opted to visit because that would have ruined all her fun on this solo mission. If it wasn’t for the fact her mate and her mate’s coven were so good at concealing their thoughts from the mind reader, the Cullen’s would already know what she was. She wanted it to be a surprise.
These vampires were young and young vampires were so fun to mess with. As long as her mothers and mate weren’t there to scold her and tell her to ‘act her age’ and whatnot. She wouldn’t scare anyone, she would only amaze them with her awesomeness.
She made it to the Cullen house faster than the ‘kids’ made it and with the little extra time she had, she sent a text to her mothers and her mate asking about this new blonde she found. Her parents would be able to give her great advice on what to do and her mate could explain how she didn’t know this blonde was a part of their relationship.
She had to have known, right? Tanya knew the Cullen’s, had hosted their family many times, she had to have known!
Her mate had a lot of explaining to do.
Bella waited outside, listening to the lone vampire in the house come closer to the front door but not opening it. She was probably confused as to why Bella was just waiting there but Bella figured it would be more polite to wait for at least the ‘kids’ to get there.
Thankfully she didn’t have to wait long.
They were all out of the door the same time the engine was turned off. They all looked concerned; well, the mind reader mostly did the others weren’t.
“You’re a shifter.” The blonde southern gentleman said. Bella had heard about his unwitting participation in the Southern Wars. He was strong and not quite as young as most of the coven was and had apparently heard of her kind. Bella wondered how much he knew.
“I am.” Bella said with a giant smile, completely proud of her heritage. “A panther.”
“Same as the wolves?” The giant man asked, something Bella couldn’t help but snort at.
“Not at all.”
While the wolves were near the top of the shifter food chain, so to speak of course, but they weren’t anything like her breed. Panthers were higher on the food chain, by just enough to count, than the wolves. The only thing the wolves really had going for them was that they weren’t ever alone. Panthers were always alone, they were lone creatures. That was why Bella was able to stray from her mate and mother’s and be okay. She understood her mate wasn’t a fan of that, but Bella was like the embodiment of an introvert, she could only handle so much of other people before she went crazy.
“Why don’t we go inside, I’m technically here on official business and whatnot.” Bella said with a lazy grin. “Unless you would like to stay out here and get to know me better?” Bella asked the blonde with a cheeky grin.
The blonde huffed and rolled her eyes before turning with her siblings to go inside, “You’ll have to try harder than that.” If it wasn’t the sway of the beauties hips as she walked away, Bella was sure she would have had a witty retort for her.
“Damn.” She said as the door closed behind her, her mate definitely should have warned her about this blonde.
Bella felt her phone buzz and before she followed her mate into the house, she figured it wouldn’t be wise to ignore her older mate. Her mothers’ text she would read later. Eventually. When she had time on her way home.
‘Call it punishment for always leaving. Be careful kitten, her claws are sharper.’
Bella smiled as she put her phone away. She wouldn’t expect anything less from her mate.
