Development progress and plans
Added 2022-02-16 08:23:27 +0000 UTCHello dear followers!
I slowly but steadily approach to version 0.2 which will include the beginning of the storyline.
Eah, the development of the whole game alone is not so fast as I wish it to and eats an incredible amount of time, but at the same time - it's pretty interesting!
By my estimations, I will release it somewhere around May or June. I expect, that after this milestone, I will release new versions faster (maybe one per 3-6 months?) with new content because all core of the game will be mostly ready and works without major additions or reworks.
I can't wait to jump to work on more interesting characters like (warning - a little spoiler!) cyborgs, mutants and aliens, nsfw animations... But! I need to follow the game plot and make things in their proper queue!)
What needs to be done in the next months:
* To change gameplay mechanics of using ActionPoints
* Inventory screen improvements (auto-sorting of items, scrolling, etc...)
* Female scientist + some animations for her
* Bandit boss + all basic and combat animations for him
* Common bandit variations
* Some quest animations for already existing characters
* Dead corpses of bandits, survivors (civilians) as static objects on level (following the plot)
* Extend a bit currently created levels + few additional decoration objects
* Add at least 1-2 secondary quests
* To think about and maybe do a better game save system (but it can require a lot of time)
* Basic sounds and music (minimal set)
* Final versions of dialogs + help needed with their correction to proper English
- of course, I can't predict all arising small tasks and changes which is inevitable in this game dev process, so they can affect the process and time estimations.
P.S.: And in conclusion want to show you some backgrounds from the level I finished on this week, especially these new physically correct moving chains. I need to think, to implement them somewhere else, not only on background:
