It's Thursday 4/14, and on this night 28 years ago, Q-Tip brought an unsigned Mad Skillz up to our show. The man from VA made a ridiculously impactful debut! Within days, thousands of hip-hop heads knew his lyrics by heart like it was a hit record. In fact, Atlantic Records would eventually put this freestyle on the b-side of his single "Skillz in '95," produced by Large Professor over a beat Extra P had previously premiered on our show live via his SP-1200. Lastly, Hungry jack stops by, and it's the most airtime he ever got...LOLz.
