My Modlist

This is going to be looong so I'll add all my tips and tricks up here lol

First off, I'm running a patched-down version Skyrim Special Edition, so make sure that the files you grab are definitely the right ones

I install everything with Vortex now; it feels like it doesn't give me as much control over load order and things, but I'm learning how to jump through its hoops and make it work. One thing I found that is VERY IMPORTANT when creating body meshes with bodyslide is that - it will ask you to point to your skyrim directory so that it can plug them into the right place. What you actually need to do is find your vortex archive of the mod and point it there. Have no idea why - but that was the only way I could get it to work

Mod libraries can get overwhelming really quickly, so my strategy was - get devourment working and then build up from there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFMJaeyUxeM&t=0s is 100% the tutorial you want to follow - they are amazing and provide all the links to what you need to install and in the right order. In general follow installation instructions, pay attention to versions and when you need compatibility patches and you should be golden

and for the actual list... whew, okay. Obviously pick and choose according to how you want the game to be - I feel like people are gonna judge me for my choices lol. although you can sometimes install mods mid playthrough with no issue, you definitely can't take them out again without a new game - just be careful <3

ALSO I have no idea what order these will come in - im going to list my installed mods rather than my load order because there are a lot of resources that don't contain an esp but which you'll still want/need. shouldn't be a problem because vortex is actually pretty good at figuring out what needs to happen on its own.
