It's actually beautiful today - I love being able to just sit in the garden and write.  Under a parasol, duh, although the general irony of a vampire sunning herself in the middle of July isn't lost on me.

Made a huge decision last night. I'm a teaching assistant irl (no, I haven't eaten any of the children yet, but they do make jokes about the tiny goth girl not bringing in lunch because she eats people instead - you have no idea how hard it is to manage), but essentially I'm on summer break now. Part of me hopes that I can push hard enough on my writing and other passive income streams that maybe I won't need to go back, but for now that's neither here nor there. With an entire summer ahead of me, I pretty much knew what I needed to do.

So I spoke with a close friend over the course of several nights and, while I was drunk and horny and stupid, I dropped a whole bunch of my savings on a new machine (ahhhh!). She is a b i g girl, and I managed to find one that didn't have all the neon guts coiled up behind Perspex. Hopefully it comes tomorrow - I think it said one business day... I feel that sort of excited where you can't really convince yourself it's happening. I've wanted a new computer pretty much since devourment moved onto special edition and I couldn't upgrade. That was years ago.

but I'm sort of thrilling about all the things I'll be able to try and do at more than 30 fps for the first time ever. Like do I immediately become a pirate queen again? Gluttonous vampirelord/succubus feels basic, but fuck it's so good... All the survival mods have to sneak back in, obviously - it's going to be one of those holidays where I crawl out of a pit parched and starving while the Raven in-game nestles comfortably near the obese spectrum of gluttony.

With so many options I feel like I'm running on static. I'll need to get it all working and everything first, and that'll probably take a few days... but I wanted to open it up to you guys I guess lol. Have you got any suggestions for fun playstyles or vorny character scenarios I might not have tried yet? I'll almost definitely play as myself (although I have been playing with the idea of maybe being a man for a little while too), but part of the fun for me is curating the perfect modlist to make devouring people as entertaining and natural-feeling as possible... you know, in a non-serial-killery way...
