So, it's entirely possible that a time duplicate Bender may have skipped out on returning to the Planet Express Cavern and waited around for a epoch with lots of Booze. It's reasonable that he'd encounter another bar fly in that time.

Who knows maybe he popped up a time sphere so he and his new human friend you return to the 31st century and visit his other human friend before he set out to kill him.
