Jyu Jyu live, something I have wanted to avoid for awhile

I am sorry about the vocal quality... I had the mic off my shirt and didn't even realize it. You'll have to turn up your volume on this.

I worked at Jyu Jyu's first live after the announcement of their disbandment. I discuss this plus other stuff I'm going to do for them that I didn't make public. Also, had a talk with a producer who I really trust and he told me something that I have not wanted to do since I started IU. Looks like the first real issue of 2022 has come... so I hope you'll take time to listen and give me your thoughts. I always welcome them.

Thank you for your comments. I truly appreciate them a lot. Bury is done... so they would be hard to get. I have wanted to get Lilii Kao but it seems difficult with their schedule. LiLiHoLi would be easy to get, since I am on really great terms with their manager. But we'll see if there is enough interest in them. I put up cheki of their members, and nobody really bought any... so that made me pause and think they would not draw well at an online cheki session at this time. As for the whole segmentation... yeah... it's really one of THE most shittiest parts about idol culture that few people realize goes on because it's all behind the scenes. But next time you check out your favorite idol group, pay attention to who ELSE they are playing with. Chances are, it's the same four or five groups over and over again, and that's because of this segmentation bullshit. I hate it with all of my heart, but if I say something to these groups in retaliation or defense, they'll just ghost me. Because in Japan, ghosting is how you deal with unpleasant experiences. So I have to kiss ass to a lot of these groups that think this way in order to work with them, when it comes to this stuff I mean. The thing is, I love a LOT of groups, and I'm super nice to everybody and that's all genuine, but these groups see no real interest or need to help other groups out if they are less popular, or be associated with less popular groups, simply because they don't want to ruin their "reputation" in the idol scene. It's edge lord bullshit, but if I want to work in this business, I have to accept it. I am a gaijin in a Japanese universe. That's something I have to try and remember always when working here.

Maybe you can organize the groups by agency\label? Perhaps that would soothe some of the politics and bad feeling. Though personally I would be frank and say this is my business. My business suffers when I am perceived as favoring one group over another. Makes it harder to get more groups if you are seen as only working with this type of group or that type of group.

Finally caught up listening to all your posts ! It's unfortunate that idol has to be so segmented. You would think we are all in this together, but, that is not the case. It sucks that you have to change what you do to survive. As always, we foreign fans are forever grateful for what you do for us ! Thank you ! The Jyu Jyu disbandment is so sad. I hope some or all of them carry on with solo projects or other groups. It would be a shame if they disappeared altogether.
