Gnoll Trophy Hunter

Gnoll Trophy Hunters start off as typical gnolls, if one could consider a demon-born anthropomorphic hyena to be in any way normal. Some Gnolls display a targeted savagery that surpasses mere hunger; and, under the watchful gaze of their demonic progenitor, they are driven to hunt for increasingly grand prey. Every battle becomes a personal pursuit for trophies, and soon, only the flesh of elite warriors or pack alphas can momentarily sate their all-consuming hunger.

Trophy Hunters can be used on their own, solitary hunters or an independent vanguard or as champions for a roving pack of Gnolls, increasing their lesser pack mates aggression through their own deeds - seeking out enemy champions, slaying them and harvesting grisly trophies, displaying their martial might. They are versatile enemies that make for brutal exchanges of blows and ideally embody both the martial culture and the gluttonous frenzy of gnoll-kind.
