Troll Ironhead

Trolls have become increasingly prevalent within gangs, bands, or paramilitary organizations. Those distinguished by exceptional brutality and a spark of intelligence are clad in heavy plate armor and made to believe that nothing can overcome the combination of their thick skulls, natural regeneration, and full plate armor. Their belief in invulnerability renders them dangerously fearless, eagerly throwing themselves into the fray in pursuit of glory and plunder, facing the greatest dangers as waves of enemies crash upon them. However, should their defense be breached, doubts sprout within the troll’s mind, either fermenting into paralyzing fear or boiling over into boundless rage.

The Ironhead acts like a one man breaching squad, charging headfirst into any situation and establishing a foothold on its own, enduring horrendous amounts of damage and dealing it right back.  While it has everything it needs to be big and smashy, this simple concept leaves room for flavourful abilities like Contemptuous Stomp, allowing the Troll to show its disdain towards smaller creatures.

The Ironhead acts as a living battering ram, charging head first into any fray and acting as a bridgehead for its allies, capable of enduring horrendous amounts of damage to hold any position. The Ironhead possesses a unique gameplay mechanic reflecting its colossal overestimation and hubris, which can backfire if the troll's confidence in its abilities wavers. The Ironhead is a brutal melee combatant, but its distinct traits create a battle that's more dynamic than a mere continuous application of brute force!
