The samurai, as a pop cultural icon, embodies honor, discipline, and swordsmanship in the collective imagination. Their significance resonates deeply in various forms of media, painting a picture of skilled warriors, bound by a martial code and pursuing an ideal of unwavering loyalty. The samurai’s lore offers a wealth of themes: loyalty to a lord, a sense of duty, and the pursuit of personal honor. They bring an air of martial prowess and elegance,enhancing the thematic depth of a campaign. The duality of their stoic discipline and the emotional intensity beneath the surface makes them compelling adversaries. Their historical relevance and pop cultural impact make them an excellent choice for challenging and evocative encounters.

This week's release comes with four different skins.

Historically Samurai were well versed in different kinds of combat, excelling with Bow, Spear, Sword and Musket. This Samurai focuses on its melee abilities, although it can make use of its Longbow from a distance. However, the Samurai truly shines in melee combat, suppressing unworthy enemies’ offensive output due to Martial Virtues and retaliating against sloppy attacks using Superior Bladework.

A battle with or against the Samurai should fulfill all expectations linked to the classic image of the Samurai. In one-on-one combat it possesses stylistic and flavorful ways to promote a thematically fulfilling yet also thrilling encounter, with lots of ways to roleplay the Samurai as a distinct entity and not just a reflavoured fighter-archetype.

Crimson Dawn Blade is the dramatic finisher, allowing the Samurai to put everything into one decisive strike.
