Those who don’t meet their end in their initial conflicts often find their names whispered throughout the gutters, their police records filled with autopsy reports.

The concept of the Back Alley Slasher revolves around short, intense battles for low level characters. Its abilities are simple but bring unexpected moments for both new and experienced players. The slasher prefers crowded, urban areas and offers an interesting back-and-forth in close combat, making it a great addition to encounters involving bandits, gangs, or other knife-loving adversaries.

The Slasher offers a dynamic addition to any grounded group of foes, serving as a challenging adversary in single combat. Monsters are designated duellists if their kit allows for more back and forth with the player characters than a simple exchange of the same attacks. Initially two reactions allow the Back Alley Slasher to act outside of its own turn, exemplifying its swiftness and unconventional fighting style.
