Tactician

No strategy survives first enemy contact, a statement that is tried and tested. Those taking to the field themselves to make sure that a mind equal to those devising strategy will see it adapted to the flow of the encounter are strategists no longer, but Tacticians. Tutored in all manners of practical warfare by military academies or veterans, these Tacticians are effective force multipliers on the battlefield, assessing threats, relaying immediate orders and acting as the tactical lynchpin for small to medium-scale fighting forces.

The Tactician either directs the flow of combat personally or acts on the behalf of an even greater authority, commanding the minion fodder while the big bad can concentrate on smashing skulls. Practically helpless on its own, the Tactician acts as a force multiplier, making the creatures surrounding it that much more effective at their job.

The Tactician acts as strategic support, guiding their allies to get the most of them while surveying the field of battle, anticipating and adapting to shifts in balance. The Tactician achieves this by directing its allies' attention at possible threats, analyzing enemies weaknesses and dividing the battlefield into separate tactical zones, each one becoming focal points for enemy forces. This makes for an innovative and unique force multiplier that's both effective and fun to use!
