Alex felt giddy with the expectation, only half hearing Tyler as the policewoman rests her hands on Alex’s shoulder to steady herself.
“Alex, I'll be honest with you, I am…”
Alex’s day-dreaming mind was already a few steps ahead, wondering if Tyler would look better as the groom or as the bride. Her gaze turned aside as she began to dream up the costume.
“... the Black Devil.”
Tyler shifted into her natural form, black goo erupting from her skin, covering her entire body and tightening into the slick form of Tylix.
“Well, of course, I…,” Alex started but stopped abruptly as she finally saw what Tyler had become in front of her. “Eh?”
Tylix may no longer has a stomach in the human sense, but it still felt like a hundred butterflies in there as she waited for Alex’s response, the symbiote’s tentacled hair waving around in agitation.
Alex’s eyes widened in surprise as she took in the view of the dark alien, a million questions derailing her previous train of thought. “Wait, wait, wait…,” she muttered, trying to sort her jumbled mind.
“Hey, wait a minute,” Alex’s face suddenly scrunched up as she let the proverbial sink in. “Are you kidding me ???”
