Arriving at the hospital, Tyler helped the medics to push Connan till he entered the operating room. Alex quickly came around when she heard Tyler was there, checking if she needed any aid.

Without a word, Tyler grabbed Alex into a tight hug, surprising the short nurse. Alex returned the hug, patting Tyler on her back. She seemed fine physically, so something must be bothering her. After a while, Tyler released Alex, but still kept a firm grip on her shoulders.

“Alex, there’s something I should have told you long ago,” Tyler confessed with a worried look on her face, “Can you keep a secret?”

Back in the room where Tylix and Connan fought, the Spanish woman, Sonya, was trying to remove her cuffs but to no avail. Suddenly, a banging noise could be heard behind her, from one of the wooden boxes tucked away in the corner. Before she could react, one side of the wooden panel was kicked away, and from within climbed out a tired but happy reporter.

Teressa was all smiles as she came out from her hiding place, a camera in hand holding her prize for tonight. As part of her deal with Frank, she was tipped off on the trap that the Mob have set, and have hid herself in anticipation of taking some sweet shots of the mysterious Black Devil.

Her patience had paid off wonderfully, but now she has to hurry before the cops arrive. Sonya was calling her out for help, but the reporter ignored her pleas. Scanning the room one last time before she leaves, the observant reporter suddenly noticed something peculiar.

A blob of dark slime on the floor, knocked out from the Black Devil by Connan, was slowly creeping away. Intrigued, Teressa reached out her hands towards it, eager for a souvenir of the Black Devil.

Looks like things will just get harder for Tylix/Tyler, plus quite some interesting hooks for the next part of the story.
