It reeked of raw eggs and diesel, and tasted worst. Eva gagged and tried to spit it out, but Cynthia’s firm hand kept the contents in her mouth. Alarmingly, the contents squirmed against her tongue, forcing its way past her throat and into her gullet, leaving behind a trail of numbing slime.

As she swallowed, Cynthia loosened her hold, giving Eva the chance to turn around and berate her sister. “WHAT ARE YOU…”, the words stuck at her throat when she saw her “sister”.

The creature behind her has Cynthia’s face, but the rest of her body is in shades of green and purple, with bony protrusions along her arms, ribs and legs. What’s worse is that her eyes no longer have the familiarity that Eva knew, her cold gaze no different from a predator looking at it’s prey.

Something primal snapped within Eva, she screamed while making a run for it. She covered the short distance to her apartment door in an instant, but somehow the door handle was forcibly removed. Eva tried to grab onto the remaining stub, but was suddenly assailed by a wave of nausea.

Is it poison?, the thought crossed her mind as her stomach churned, then it all went blank when she doubled over and threw up. What came out wasn’t vomit, but a deluge of white slime. A cold shiver went over Eva as she felt herself becoming weaker, her knees giving way as she collapsed onto the floor. Her stomach heaved for another round but instead the contents seemed to diffuse into her lower body.

Eva couldn’t believe her eyes when the puddle of white slime suddenly lurched and moved by itself, flowing towards her. The splattered drops of slime around her mouth and chest also seemed to move on their own accord, spreading across her skin.

Internally, Eva could feel the numbness from her throat and stomach spreading out to the rest of her limbs, as if she’s losing control of her own body. Overwhelmed by the turn of events, Eva could only clasp her hands tightly, a prayer on her lips as she slowly slips into unconscious.

Artist’s Note:

Starting this month, we’re trying a new posting schedule, with the Main comics on the 1st and 3rd Sunday, and the Exclusives on the 2nd and 4th Sunday. The Pin-Ups will then be on the 4th Wednesday, and the Queen’s reward on the following Wednesday.

Hopefully with this schedule we can post more regularly instead of having monthly spurts of posts then breaks.
