During their choir practice, Eva sang with heart overflowing, her voice bright and clear, and it didn't went unnoticed. The priest and other members commended on her improvement, sending the young lady into a bashful state.
"I'm merely grateful to God," Eva admitted, "for He has answered my prayers, and returned my long-lost sister to me." With that, the crowd joined in with their congratulations, and there was much rejoicing on the glory of God.
Now that Eva doesn't need to search for Cynthia, she didn't rush from one activity to the next, making time to socialize with the other church members. Her cheerfulness, a marked difference from her previous reserved mood, made her a magnet for new friends.
Even during her tuition classes, the students noticed her new energy and paid (slightly more) attention to what was taught. When the classes end, she hanged around with the kids, sending them off when their parents or guardians came to collect.
One of the kid's guardian, a neatly dressed, bespectacled young man, approached Eva. "Hi, I'm John, Lucas's elder brother, thank you for teaching him to be less dumb. *gets punched in rib by Lucas* What's your name?"
And with that, one conversation lead to another, and Eva got a lunch date.
