In the dark waters, gaining distance by the minute, Cynaith swam alongside her Spawn. Grabbing it’s shoulder for support with her right hand, Cynaith’s left arm hung loose at her side. Her left had took the brunt of the explosion, her armor cracked and peeling off in places. Slime bleeding away from the cracks belied the internal wounds her body is struggling to regenerate.

Back in the cave, Rose huddled in tears beside the entrance pool as the Spawn circled around her menacingly. When Tyler asked her to run, she had set off in a panic, and quickly got lost among the dark caves. The Spawn had tracked her easily, and through the not-so-gentle use of its jaws and claws, had herded her back close to the entrance, awaiting its Master.

As the waters sloshed with movement, Rose faintly hoped that her rescuers will appear, but wailed as the other Spawn and her Kidnapper rose from the waters instead.

Rose stumbled back in fear as the monster approaches. The cave was dark, but Rose could vaguely sense it was injured, from its slow and uneven movement. As it came close, Rose swung out in fear, her hand connecting with its head with a loud smack.
