Closure - Page 6

Cynaith was clinging onto the Spawn as the two of them splashed down into the sea. Her presence was weak, but Tyler's symbiote sense can tell that the alien was still alive. Rick and the others were still confused by what they saw, till Tyler shouted "Stop them!". 

Turning to give chase, Tyler only managed a few steps before she suddenly collapsed. Rick was quick enough to grab her before she hits the floor, and propped her up on his side.

"Tylix wasn't kidding when it feel asleep," Tyler thought as a wave of fatigue hits everywhere all at once. The symbiote body had used up most of it's energy throughout the fight and the change, and Tyler had been pushing back on this odd sensation till it now overwhelmed her. 

"Ah, I'm ok, just tired," Tyler reassures Rick, but then leaned harder onto her colleague.

"Hell no, you're not!" Rick retorted, "You need to get to Medical, ASAP!" Turning to Mark, he signaled him to radio in help. "What on earth was that "thing" just now?" he asked.

"That "thing" was what kidnapped mee..." Tyler began to slur as she started to lose consciousness. Her thoughts raced, "Where would she go... Back to the cave... What's in the cave..."

Tyler suddenly snapped back to attention, "A cave! Their... hideout's in a cave by the sea, there's another victim there... You have to save herrr..."

Feeling herself slipping into oblivion, Tyler used her last words to described the location as best as she could, while Rick conveyed the same to Mark, calling in the Coastguard to assist in pursuing the suspect.

 Rick tucked her into the passenger seat of the car as she finally fell into a deep sleep, waiting for the paramedics to arrive. Beside him, Mark suddenly received an odd command over the radio: the FBI are now taking over the operation.
