In the afternoon, Eva joined in with the Choir practice. With Easter coming soon, the Church have ramped up their activities in preparation for the celebration. Being the newest member, Eva felt nervous among her peers, and it shows through her singing.

Nonetheless, the Church members were kind and patient, helping her when she faltered, and giving advice on the more difficult parts. Hours later, they stopped for a light evening meal, and went home for the night. A few members offered to help Eva to practice at her home, but Eva politely declined, saying she has business to attend to.

Bidding farewell to the group and the Father, Eva hurried back towards her apartment before the sun fully sets. The handkerchief where she left the cat-food was (almost) empty, though the cat was nowhere to be seen. Picking the cloth up, she'll come back again tomorrow, hopefully to a friendlier cat.

The apartment was a few blocks away, managed by one of the Church members. The building was several decades old, slightly run-down, packed and small. Having little money at hand, Eva was already thankful to have a roof over her head in the city. As always, she opened her mailbox hoping for some letters/replies, but the empty bin reflects her disappointment.

Entering her two-room apartment, Eva sets her bag aside and changed into a more casual wear. Her small kitchen table was dominated by an open telephone book, a notepad nearby with numerous notes and strike-outs. Beneath the book are copies of a missing person's poster.

Eva settled down to continue her task for the night, calling the numbers of those who lived in the city, asking if they have seen the missing person. It has been months since she made the missing report, weeks since she searched the city streets. Others may have given up or moved on, but Eva will continue to devote a few hours each day, to search for her big sister, Cynthia Lyubov.
