Added 2020-05-03 07:24:42 +0000 UTCThe mental tug grew stronger, drawing them in like a whirlpool towards the center of the mind. Tyler/Tylix felt an innate sense, that it was important who reached there first. Tylix leapt forward, but Tyler quickly caught up and elbowed in at the last moment.
As the mind "closes", Tyler/Tylix felt an immense mental pressure, as their new brain tries to reconcile with two minds in one body. Tyler can feel parts of her identity bleed into Tylix's and vice-versa. Tyler held on, as much as she could, till she hears a "pop" and opened her eyes, to the sight of Cynaith holding her in her arms, helping her to shed off her cocoon.
Artist's Note:
Tyler's queue-cutting techniques on the coffee line came in handy. XD
Trying to depict the mental merge is hard, and the top panels are what I came up with. Tylix will still be around, it's just that Tyler have taken the driver's seat.
The birth of a Queen is a big thing in symbiote culture, so Cynaith is performing the customary rituals, with her Spawns assisting.
