We had Siskel & Ebert for movies & they would hold all Hollywood productions to a high standard. Video game sites & magazines used to do this as well but if you understand what happened to Hollywood, it’s clear it happened to the gaming industry as well. They bought out the “gatekeepers” sites, etc. so they wouldn’t be critical or honest but instead overly supportive of the Marxist based ideologies that were going to become omnipresent in all future content. So Orwell’s quote from 1984 has become reality. You tell the truth & some BUT NOT ALL hate you for it. This is why I support you & your channel because you are you. The gaming industry is in rapid decline. You & your videos aren’t negative; you’re honest in your constructive criticisms. It wasn’t until you said recently you’re “gatekeeping” that it clicked for me. Just like when I’d go to my local comic book shop & I’d pick up a title and the owner would start telling me ‘you don’t want that one’ pick up this number one instead. [It was DC’s Crisis on Infinite Earths by the way.] He was extremely insightful & I loved talking to him every Thursday. He loved comic books so much and that’s just like you with gaming.
