OLD BONES Sketch Dump (+ deleted sketches)

Bunch of the sketches from the Old Bones journal sequence, as well as some unused sketches from multiple deleted scenes.

The window sequence would have taken place over a number of years, showing the "men" slowly break down Glenn into making the deal.

The bear sequence would have been Glenn sketching what he witnessed as the bear mutated. I realized it takes away a lot of the horror to actually see it. Which is a bit of a shame because I like a lot of the bear designs. Huzzah, fear of the unknown wins again!

Last 3 images are concept sketches I made while trying to figure out the visual style of Glenn's sketches and his well-dressed men

Thank you all so much for sticking with me and for the positive reaction to Old Bones! It's hard to describe how much it means to me. I feel very blessed

Yep 100% Remy. Majority of analog horror series are made by a single person, Mandela Catalogue, The Painter, Local 58, Gubi!, Vita Carnis. These series have a competent creator. Then you have The Walten Files and Martin Walls himself. Even though TWF is a great series, I don't like Martin one bit. I dont know exactly why he's so slow, and why he feels compelled to outright lie multiple times to his fans, alongside the fanbase excuse of "he works on it alone", which makes no sense because a lot of Analog Horror creators work as single and get their episodes up when they say they will be up. Is this all you creating the story and this world? It's absolutely incredible, amazing work. It's definitely in my top 10 list of best things ever made. I grew up in the 1980's, I still have my Panasonic VHS camcorder that takes full size VHS tapes. When I first started watching your series, I actually thought you were more my age, because I felt that your VHS filter effects as well as the logos and such look very realistic and accurate for the time period. I thought, "finally, someone who understands how the VHS look is *supposed* to look!" Anyways, as always, I can't wait for part 4. Best of luck with college!! :)

I’m happy you’re still going with this and honored to support something special — I watch a lot of Z/no budget horror flicks for funsies, and what impressed me was how much GHE had done on what I figured was a low budget. GHE doesn’t crutch on jumpscares, but uses tension, and Old Bones continues that (although the alarm bit could be a jumpscare? Eh, lmao).

Love the direction your series is going. With this one I like that it strays away from the typical Analog Horror 80s/90s aesthetic and incorporates the looks of other media, like the old film sequences which are supposed to be from the 40s.
