I set myself a little challenge over the weekend.
I challenged myself to listen through the Spotify Global Top 50 and take whatever the most streamed track from this week is and turn it into a rock cover.
Note that I never use Spotify xD so I was expecting a hip hop track and being unsure how I might tackle it. The song I found actually has some pretty decent songwriting (thanks to Charlie Puth), so I've been head down in music production all weekend.
I'm pleased to say that this track was started last night and is now finished (at 9pm the next day). It's a little late now for me to film a video for it in time for YouTube this week, but I'll likely tackle filming that tomorrow night and slot it in on YouTube next week. :D
In the meantime, have a preview of the chorus from this track. Hopefully you know the song already.... apparently it's the most streamed song over the last month *shrugs* xD
This was actually a pretty fun challenge, and I was stoked with what I found and what I came up with for it. So lemmie know if you like my spin on it.... I sure do personally, haha.
