Heyo peeps!!

Hey guys, lemmie show you what I've been working on!

I wanted to share this with you guys here who've decided to stick with me even during times when I'm not PUBLISHING any content.
I've most definitely been creating content behind the scenes and acquiring a bunch of new skills, like...
- Learning how to edit videos
- Learning a lot more about recording and mixing music
- I've even been out and about playing and singing songs live in the streets with my acoustic guitar

So HERE we have one of THREE "music videos" which I've been creating in preparation to launch my own music-themed YouTube channel. I'm pretty stoked with both how this sounds AND looks... I don't even care that I'm not in costume or wearing makeup  xD  IMHO, I look cute regardless, COS I'M CLEARLY HAVING A LOT OF FUN PLAYING MUSIC!

Now... these vids take quite a while to create, as similar to my time in cosplay, I'm doing all the work solo. What's involved for each 3-5 minute song is (short version)...
- Record all the instruments.... drums, guitars, bass, keyboards...
- Record the lead vocals and backing vocals
- Mix the recording so it sounds good and 'radio-ready'
- Set up cameras and a filming space
- Film myself playing each instrumental part 4 times (4 different angles per instrument)
- Sync all the videos and edit a music video... usually splicing 100-200 individual cuts

So that's why it takes a bit of time for me to create each one, but goddamn, it's pretty fun!

As I said above, I've now got 3 videos ready, and my goal is to finish 5 videos before I launch my YouTube channel, so that there's a bit of content there waiting for people when I begin to share my music.
(P.S. This probably won't be my actual channel, so don't worry about subscribing to it YET... I haven't even thought of a name for the channel yet, lolol).

I'll drop more details shortly, but one last note is that... at the end of the vid, there's a little outro of me mentioning supporting me on Patreon if you like my music and my videos.

The reason I'm considering doing this is because.... 1: There appears to be a bunch of you guys that just really love supporting me and seeing what I create no matter what it is, so this would allow me a space where you guys can continue throwing a dollar a month my way if you wish
And 2: Because some of the content I'm creating is covers of major-label songs, copyright claims are quite often an issue on the videos.... I can post them no problem, BUT it does mean that any ad revenue generated from views of my videos goes to the record company of the artist who's song I'm covering.
I'm not particularly worried about that at the moment, as you can't actually monetize a YouTube channel until you've racked up 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of playtime, which will be a while off for me anyway...... I'm just forseeing that if people do wish to help me out in making this content, Patreon will be a much better way to do it initially.

I think Patreon will allow me to throw some cool extras out for supporters too... these are all 'draft ideas', but I've been throwing around thoughts like...
- Ability to vote for which songs I end up covering
- Blooper reels
- Behind the scenes footage
- Previews of upcoming songs and videos well before I publish them to YouTube
- And hell, let's set some regular times to catch up in Discord!!! ^_^

SO, I just wanted to give a little more info around that. Obviously I'll totally re-jig things here and change up the tiers, but we're not there just yet... I'm still focusing on music right now!

Anyhoo, that's enough 'thinking out loud' from me for now... I just wanted to break the silence and show you guys something pretty cool that I've been working hard on!
