Wait but listen to what you just said Russ won a Super Bowl and a Regular Season MVP what has Dame won that was comparable to anything Russ has done.

Russel is Corny, not sure why you can't acknowledge that. I will say the vitriol that Russell receives from former teammates is excessive, but I think you're over estimating how good Russell has been. When they made their superbowl runs they ran the ball and had alot of bootlegs. Russ was not just a drop back passer. You are being disingenuous by saying the team, specifically Jerry Rice didn't like Steve Young. The team PREFERRED Montana, and alot of the friction on the 49ers was created by Walsh flip flopping between QBs. Jerry Rice has never said he didn't like Steve. Also, Russell has never made a single all pro, but Dame has mad numerous All NBAs, so it's not far fetched to say Russ and Dame are the same. A number of QBs have won SBs on their rookie deals (Flacco being one)
