As we all know it was revealed that Kawhi tore his meniscus in the same Knee as his surgically repaired ACL, which by all reports wasn’t a clean surgery resulting in lingering post-op complications, also according to reports Kawhi underwent another minimally invasive procedure this past June to repair said meniscus & clean up lose particles from the ACL surgery. One point of contention, Kawhi doesn’t have any type documented chronic arthritic condition in his Knee(s).. that was a misnomer propagated by Jalen Rose in midst of the news of Kawhi’s latest injury. Kawhi’s initial ACL tear was a result of his Thigh (Quad) Injury from 2018 even after extensive rehabilitation caused extensive stress to his Knee (ACL) which we saw throughout the entirety of the ‘19 playoff run subsequently resulting in rupture during the ‘21 playoff run. Albeit & In-Conclusion, I absolutely agree w/ the perspective of Kevin Wilds in how the Kawhi injury situation should be viewed.

2023-12-21 15:09:52 +0000 UTCIt be interesting but another scorer is not what the Lakers need they really just need the guys they have to get healthy and do what they were brought into do which is to space the floor that and hope and pray that lbj and ad don't suffer any debilitating injuries which has pretty much been a given since 2021 but no Zach lavine would be a terrible fit for the Lakers the only way that would work is if lebron would sacrifice a good portion of his shots and touches and as we see despite all that nonsense he tried to spew at the beginning of the season of this bein ad's team lebron is not willing to let go of that ball dominant style of play his ego simply won't allow it as an aside I have never really been impressed with Zach lavine he is a guy similar to Bradley Beal who his playstyle/physical attributes make you think he could be a superstar but their is simply way too much missingmin the mental aspect that they'll never reach that I'd throw DeMar DeRozan in that CATEGORY as well

If they pull it off, does it make them the team to beat out west & overall favorite to win it all? I think it’d be a great narrative for Lakers to win 1st IST & finals in same season. Something to watch for.

Make the finals and win it all. He’d bring 1st chips to 2 franchises who’d previously won none. A nice accomplishment to add to his HOF résumé. And most of all the Clips get to run LA for once.
