At this point he’d spent a while thinking about the answer to his own question: how, if at all, should the rod affect the target creature’s mental state? If he, say, wanted to change his current character into a girl–an idea he had idly considered proposing, after running a one-shot reminded him how fun he found playing a female character–he would prefer things to go smoothly, with no awkward period of sexually objectifying your own body, having to get used to walking again, or having to learn about things like makeup and periods. But he found the idea of a person’s memories or personality being forcibly rewritten to be disturbing.
He once again read through his own attempt to codify his desires into rules.
For creatures with a culture: a creature gains the average knowledge about its body and social norms that would be expected for a creature of the other gender. This includes skills such as applying common cosmetics or performing necessary hygiene.
