Hello, my lovelies! I hope everyone enjoys this chapter! We have one more chapter of Teacher's Pet on the way, and then I may turn to... something more wholesome/hypnofantasy-related, probably! We'll see.
I've been struggling with burnout lately. I know it probably seems like I've been on break from the other end of things, but the truth is I'm just working at a way slower pace than I used to. π But I'm hoping to bounce back from it soon. I should probably take up some commissions for financial reasons, but I obviously don't want to make the problem worse, so I'm taking it slow.

Also found it really interesting how this chapter does lean a biiit closer to hypnokink, with the section where Diane lowers her into the bath very much having the cadence and general feel of an induction (especially with how helena's feelings in the moment are described)

Loved the thematic connections between her overall dependency and stuff like the hot water or her clinging to Diane's hand. LOVED trying to parse out what Diane was actually doing at every moment when our POV character is so untrustworthy (really dishonest of helena tbh, she should feel ashamed about that). I couldn't help but notice the mention of Diane's face being visible in a mirror when she was turned around...
