Hello, my lovelies! This was originally envisioned as a Valentine's Day story, but, well. It's a bit closer to Easter now. I hope you enjoy! I really liked writing this one. Not sure if I'll do a sequel, but keeping my options open.
This one's playing with some kinks I don't write a ton of, so check the tags!
EDIT: Due to a mixup, the story was mistitled "Be My Velveteen", a working title intended for when this was gonna be a Valentine's Day story. Sorry for the confusion! It has been corrected.

(Spoilers) I loved how it relied on manipulation, the uncertainty between hoped-for and committed status, and temporary weakness, rather than persuasive comparison. Maintaining Vix's loyalty and regret, instead of there being a point of complete betrayal, kept it hot the whole way through. Ugh. The forced impregnation; the imposition of attachment; the predator/prey. And using the possibility of discovery as another lever for control, but never springing that on the unconsenting third party...so good. Thank you for this.
