Weekly Update (10-13-2025)

Alright, I think I have momentum going for the update now.

As you can see, I got about 17-18k done this week, which I think is good progress. Assuming I can keep up this pace, which I very much hope to, then I should be through this update's writing in two or three more weeks. I'm hoping for two, but never entirely safe to be sure on that, hah. There is still a good amount to get through, since a piece of emergent content I did ended up being longer than planned. Still, with momentum, I am hopeful that it won't have actually delayed me meaningfully.

In other news, yesterday I posted the promised downloadable Avalonian calendar as a follow-up lore post. It's also been basically another year since the Noblesse Steam launch, so I may try to do a retrospective like I did last year sometime this month. That said, I'm pretty deep in the update and I'm not sure I want to stop and write that. So, it will either be sometime this month or after I finish the update.

Things with Mimo have continued to be slow, sadly, between her recovering from the technical issues she had and her being back in school. I still hope to include the new Lorena art this update and hope it will end up happening, but we'll see how that goes.

Otherwise, while I'm currently focused entirely on Noblesse (my current plan is just to try to finish up the novel during my next break), I did have the cover for that brewing in the background, and the artist sent me the final draft over the weekend:

I am overall very happy with how it came out! If you've read the preview, then you may know the hair color is off, but it's pretty enough that I don't super care about that, heh. That's the kind of inaccuracy you kind of expect from covers, and being pretty and eye-catching arguably matters more, which I think it is. Will be working on a series logo for that at some point here as well, but like I said, this is not my focus right now. Just good to have this done so once I turn my attention to novel stuff, I can hopefully publish pretty quickly.

Anyway, overall the update is coming along well, and hopefully momentum will continue to build on that. For now, back to work on it!
