Weekly Update (8-25-2025)

I've been working on changes for public release this week. For starters, I updated the patreon version with some new stuff, including the new choice that was discussed/won the poll. Aside from that, I've been polishing old content a bit. I improved the opening scroll a bit, as well as improving the Avalonia ruins, Avalonia highway, and one district of of Hypernia (only a small amount on this one, removing some dead space). A small sample:

Aside from that, I've added a few new scenes to old places, including one between Calysia and Ligaea in early Chapter 6 discussing the Orders, a sister at the Groves who supporters Eris, and an elongated version of an important moment in Hypernia. I've also added another new QoL feature:

This should help in places where we have multiple fixating enemies who may fixate on different characters.

Unfortunately, as I've started my replay to see what else could use some polish, I've noticed a major failure that makes me wish I'd done a full replay more recently. Ligaea uses her faceset's first face, which is a smile, in a lot of inappropriate places early in the game. I'm slightly surprised no one has ever reported this, because it's very dissonant. >.>; I suspect it happened as a result of swapping to Mimo's art as the main set. Either way, I'm getting this fixed as I go. There will likely be other minor things I will identify and fix as well, but this is kind of a really big one.

Aside from that, I need to decide if I want to implement better controller support for public. I have permission from Rachnera to use the improved keybind and controller script pack that they made for The Lasty Sovereign, it will just take some tuning to make it work with Noblesse. I should probably do it this update since I'm experimenting with a publicist/small PR firm this release to try to get more reach, but that doesn't mean for sure that I will. So, we'll see for sure on this one.

Anyway, for now, back to replaying and tweaking.
