I just posted Chapter 20; read that first before proceeding. The poll will be open for about a week; I'm planning for Chapter 21 to drop early November and need the results to plan appropriately!
Matt is about to have a conversation with Clint, to try to cut an ongoing deal to cement the werelions as closer allies than they have been. How would he like to handle the relationship with the pride?
He could insist on giving them magic through Brooke.
But she's been difficult; he could insist on doing it with someone else, too. Of course, he doesn't know that many other werelionesses...
Or he could leave it up to Clint. Why play around with pride politics? He's got bigger fish to fry.
(Note: I happen like Brooke as a character, so don't worry, she's going to be a part of the story regardless of the outcome of this poll, though the choice here will obviously shift her relationship with Matt...)

Whatever Matt's immediate preference there'll certainly be further encounters with Brooke (...just maybe not as part of his formal deal with the werelions). This scene was super fun to write and their ongoing dynamic strikes me as interesting.
