Coping with Rejection Sensitivity Early Access

Hey! I've finished the Coping Sheets. I might do another sheet specifically for partners /family / friends. But for now, I hope this already helps!
(I think I might upload the merged version only to Patreon)

Hey Pina, is pandemic lockdown sending your Rejection Sensitivity into overdrive? I am utterly drowning because I know all my friends have 100% legit reasons for playing it safe but my lizard/chemical brain keeps saying "the internet said social pods are ok! Why doesn't anyone want to be in a pod with me? Why don't I matter to anyone?"

Caitlin Hyde

A sheet for parents/family would be great too. Thank you!

Haha yeah, best are games that don't need a lot of attention and where you don't have to read. It always depends on what works best for people and what suits the situation. If you completely tap out you might wanna try sth. different

Ah! When I do a mistake, I go overboard trying to mend things, so much so that I start bothering people instead

About "Doing something on the side", that's a fantastic idea, but I'd use the mobile game idea with caution. I've seen 3 different ADHDers in my life try to multitask playing mobile games while I'm talking with them only to completely zone out of the conversation and stop replying to questions. One of them was even telling me how great he is at multitasking at the time!

David Barnett

This is great! A question: Can you clarify what the "don't try to overcompensate" at the bottom of 3 would be referring to?

David Barnett

before I found your content I was not really cognizant of the fact that my over-sensitivity was related to ADHD and not just a flaw in my personality. This is so helpful!

Thank you SO MUCH for this! A sheet for loved ones would be super helpful - the hardest thing in the world for me is articulating why criticism hurts so much

Thank you so much for this. I'd love a family/friends/partners one. That would be so good. You have an amazing talent to visualize and explain my feelings and thoughts I never could! This helps me so much! Thank you for that! 💕

I’d also love a family/friends/partners one. This is amazing for helping me process my own RSD but skills for me and skills for my loved ones who also have ADHD aren’t the same thing, I have learned rather frustratingly! (Also, does anyone else find they get RSD on other folks’ behalf via emotional contagion?)

This is AMAZING - I would love love LOVE if you did one specifically for partners/family/friends. In some ways I almost feel like that would be MORE helpful for some of us. I've known about my ADHD forever and I feel like although I know SO much about it I have such a hard time expressing to my partner HOW he can help me with it. I get distracted by feelings of guilt and end up blaming myself and become so tired because I just want help and don't know how to get it.

I would LOVE this for partners/family/friends. I'm a patron because my partner and two of my family members have ADHD. I'm trying to learn as much as I can!

Looks awesome :-)
