Hey! I'm working on a comic /graphic explaining RSD (Rejection sensitive dysphoria) that's shareable with your loved ones / for you to have a quick overview. I want to cover:
- How it feels
- How it can be spotted
- Where it comes from
- tricks how to deal with it
From what I can see, Emotions are the least talked about in ADHD, so it's taking a while to gather solid research to make sure everything is correct. I've received a few ADHD books today, one of them by Dr. Russel Barkley, which is specifically about Executive Functioning. I've learned a lot, but still got a lot to digest!

So currently I'm trying to just come up with a concept of how to tell everything in a way that it's understandable. I've made a few iterations of diagrams to try out if they can fit everything.

Here I'm just testing how a list would work and what I could include, and will probably stay with "How to spot it", and include how others can spot it into that section! At the bottom is a drawing I thought would be nice to introduce the whole topic at the beginning!

Another iteration for the diagram / cycle. Just concepting, testing out how to get it across right!

I've moved concepting to digital, so I can quickly move things around. I don't think I've ever shared anything so early in development and it will probably be completely changed, but I'm happy with the concept overall! I have to see if I'll include intervention here or in a seperate spread. Probably a second, ghost diagram (a copy with less visibility) and then adding the interventions. We'll see, I'll have to test it out. :)

Aaaand lastly, coping, tips and techniques to try out! I have quite a few pages scribbled down, how you can change the way you communicate (Don't ask "whd didn't you just...."), Scripts you can use and other things. Good news is, thinking about it, we can really do something about RSD :) quite a lot, actually.

I'm planning to have at least the first few areas done next week, so I hope the wait will be worth it :) Hope you're all looking forward to it! Now if you excuse me, there is a wasp in my room and I need to scream.
