I quit my job

Hey, so, the last few months were awful because I’ve overworked myself to the point of not physically being able to stand for longer than a minute (thanks to procrastinating for over half a year)

The good news is IM OFFICIALLY DOING THIS FULLTIME NOW

Im still kind of scared and should be awaiting my clients response before announcing this, but I’m super excited! I’m talking to agents about getting my comics published in book form - and y’all get to see the story of me quitting another job! Yay!

No seriously, without you all I would’ve never been brave enough to do this, despite the toll the job took on my sanity. Thank you all so much!

I’ll rest a week and slowly get going into the real deal >:)

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL

You're very welcome. Thank you for creating content that helped me to make so much sense of myself. I was diagnosed at 41 years old with ADHD (Inattentive), so I really appreciated the help. I sure did need it! You were helpful in bringing me up to speed in various ways, you made me laugh while you did it, and you also make me tear up when you are emotionally accessible during challenging times. Being vulnerable requires bravery and a commitment to helping others that is so great, that you take on some of the inherent risks that come with putting yourself out there. That is beautiful to me. I support that. I cheer you on. I even created a new Patreon account because I could not figure out my password for the old one, the site failed to send me the reset emails, and it was the middle of the night. I did it because I did not want to wait until the morning to show my support. The energy in your efforts rings true to me, till this day. You are the reason I stayed on Twitter. You are absolutely a healing force. You are using your gifts to make the world better. ROCK ON!

You have true gift, and the world deserves more of it! I teach several kids with ADHD and I'm starting to introduce their parents to your comics in hopes they might better understand our wacky brains. My teenager (recently diagnosed) adores ADHD Alien. For someone so new to your own diagnosis, you really get it. Thank you for all you do to promote understanding and support- by others as well as ourselves.

The best of luck! Representation and knowledge matters. You are shining a light on something a lot of people don’t know much about in a child and adult-friendly way. It has made a big difference in how I see myself, and I look forward to sharing your comics with others!

It’s so wild that therapists like my stuff!! Wish me luck in getting a good book deal!

Congratulations! Reallllllllllllllly happy for you! I am an ADHDer and I receive so much encouragement and useful information from your comics! The comics are so beautiful. Thank you for all our work! :-) Love from Hong Kong.

AAAAAA congratulations!!! That's fantastic!

Congratulations! Good luck! I am so looking forward to your eventual book! My therapist and I were just talking about how awesome it would be if your comics were in physical form. We will definitely each be buying one, and then I will buy extra for my family members!

Wow! Congratulations! This is so brave, bold, & inspiring. I will increase my recurring monthly donation. Shine shine shine!

Congratulations!

Good for you! That’s so exciting!

Congrats Pina <3 ! New amazing challenges await! You're gonna rock this! Can't wait to see what's next for you :)

I mostly never use the like button here or comment. However, I'm *so* excited for you! I'm very happy to allow you to quit a job you hated.
