I wanted to finish up two CGs this week and didn't even finish one.
What happened, you ask?
Tuesday morning I woke up with a pretty severe pain flare up in my right hand and wrist. It really started Wednesday night and it's basically been hurting ever since. It's improved a lot since Tuesday but the pain is definitely still elevated so I'm basically trying to just rest it.
I have a baseline of pain that is pretty persistent but it had improved for a while and it's just back. Could be the weather. Could be anything.
Chronic pain is like this. Sometimes it almost entirely goes away and sometimes it flares up like this for no identifiable reason. And here we are.
I did work on Daaz's CG and got it nearly complete. I intend to try to finish it today as I only have a couple of hairstyles left to render.
Coding and Other Stuff
I worked on a lot of bug fixes this week. Though this is only one chapter, it is a really complex chapter and that meant that there were just a lot of issues that I couldn't feasibly test on my own.
I pushed out a patch a couple of days ago with a lot of the stuff fixed. There are a lot more minor typos and missing periods and quite trivial things being posted - and a few bigger issues like some of the branching triggers still being wonky.
That said, with a lot of the stuff at least located if not yet fixed, I'm hoping to be able to release the early access version of the route by the end of this upcoming week. This aligns with the release of my friend over at Infinite Stars so we are planning a little cross promo for our games - so keep an eye out for that.

Preparing for Early Access for yellow tea and above.
I am thinking of shortening Early Access to three weeks. A month last time seemed a little on the long side. And the drawback of EA is that you can't talk about what you played with anyone for a whole month.
So I'm trying to find a good sweet spot where Early Access is beneficial but also not too long. Of course, it also largely depends how long the remaining CGs take. So...there's that part.
But I'm hoping for three weeks this time to see if that feels less cumbersome. The shortest I'm willing to make early access is two weeks.
But I don't think this time around I can shorten it that much anyway.
And finally to the people who asked questions during the last Q&A - I apologise for the delay in getting those answers out! I wrote them up then lost them. 🥲 So I've been re-writing the responses while doing everything else.
I'm going to try to get that post out this week as well.
