Optometrist antiques unboxing | ASMR show & tell (soft spoken, crinkles)

Hello there!

A quick note: YouTube now has a feature called ‘stable volume’ which tends to make everything loud and add intense white noise when I'm not talking. I strongly recommend you disable it in the video settings when watching ASMR videos!

I'll be shooting the 4th (and final) Steampunk Optometrist video very soon, and you'll be able to discover lots of new antiques and triggers... See you next Friday for the early release!

Have a wonderful night or day 😃

As I don't have eye issues at the moment I couldn't tell for sure whether it is just as difficult here in England but I would guess that this is the case. I never see optometrist even mentioned in hospitals in the UK. The UK health system has been badly treated by years of mismanagement sadly. Sorry to hear you have a similar situation in France. xx

Oh, the Steampunk Optometrist! 🤎 I look forward to watching this and the role-play video! Thank you, Diane!

the optometrist is a great character. Maybe that amazing box with lenses will find a place in other videos :)

You're totally right, an optometrist is a doctor and possibly a surgeon, whereas an optician is not and doesn't go too far beyond the vision field. Unfortunately, contacting an optometrist for anything other than a medical appointment has become impossible in France (and probably in other countries as well), so the optician was my only option and she's explained a lot to me in the past! Sadly, she couldn't help me this time, she's never seen this type of ophthalmoscope and couldn't tell anything about it, so I'm going to keep looking for information :)

I think that prismatic bar is called an optometry bar. An optometrist is generally a higher degree than an optician, possibly for more detailed analysis I suppose but I would never claim to be an expert. You may already know this so please forgive me if I'm being a bit pedantic. I would keep the bar, Diane. You never know if it won't look good in one of your sets. Thank you for such a lovely and tingly video. Always a surprise and more so when unexpected. xx

Really loved watching you unbox everything as I have a penchant for boxes of all kinds. The props were really amazing. Some of that stuff is so cool looking! My favorite was the brass spoons and the wooden eye charts! The case with glasses was awesome too as purple is my favorite color, and it was lined with purple material. It was so much fun watching what each wrapped surprise revealed! Looking forward to the next video as always! Stay well!

Just Grand!

Thanks for another great look behind the scenes! (And the tip about the YT settings as well)

I really enjoyed this one Diane an can’t wait to see the props in the next video. The ear spoon set was just so tingly❤️❤️

Thank you for the heads up about the setting! Explains a lot 😅 Such a tingly video, I'm so happy 😊 I am sad that it's the final outing for the steam punk optometrist character as I adore her but excited for your next character! Xxx

Great choice -- those beautiful brass spoons are perfect for the Steampunk Optometrist! You have the best props. Thanks for showing them in this video! :)

ohhhhh... thank you for this info and the tip! I noticed a few of the videos I like to have on while working were suddenly really loud and... not soothing at all! From all different creators. This explains it! Thx!
