This was a fun little experiment of combining my more textural, painterly style with my more graphic line art. Was actually a very pleasant experience!! I don't think this specific piece meshed the two styles together particularly well but it's inspired me to keep trying!!

Haha you hit the nail on the head!! It's based on a photo of my actual uncle Sergei when he was a small child in the USSR!! (will share the photo once I get his permission 😎)
