Capitalism demands (and gets) slave labor, has destroyed the environment, and still wants more. There is enough for everyone, but capitalism, as an economic scheme, demands that not everyone gets enough. Don't say socialism isn't reasonable. It may not be what you want, but don't look down on people who refuse to support the system using child slavery to increase profits.

I get that you’re trying to be funny and throw some humor in there but I think I’m getting more out of listening to democracy now. A news show in my humble opinion should be about the news and less about the personality of the host. If you don’t go back to the old reporting format I’ll probably spend my 5$ a month somewhere else. You got me through the pandemic but now I just don’t really feel it like I used to.

"Foot traffic is going to be better for businesses than cars" he says LoL I guess I can get rid of my weekly food deliveries. How in the F am I even supposed to eat without driving? I've eaten out a million times over the years and the vast majority of consumers parked in the lot. In the city. I used my car to go hiking or camping the wilderness regularly, alone. My brother sold his Sig AR15 to buy my niece a car and she still cannot/will not learn to drive in her 20's. And Amsterdam is a walkable city? Yeah but have you even tried driving their crappy circular roads to begin with? I have. "I would challenge you to find somebody who that is disabled that is like, yeah, we should keep cars here actually blah blah hit in a wheelchair": Um, I grew up with a great man who suffered from Polio when he was young and was always in a wheelchair driving his own van.
