'Dear Kelly' Opening Scene + Film Release + 20% Patron Discount!

Hey Guys!

I am so insanely stoked to say that my sophomore documentary 'Dear Kelly' is now live on our website, https://www.dearkellyfilm.com/.

This project took over four years to complete and chronicles the life and times of Kelly J. Patriot over the course of an election cycle, and in my genuine view, is a gripping portrait of a modern American family ripped apart by reactionary politics in the wake of economic hardship.

I really appreciate all of your support. Defending myself against Bill Joiner's lawsuit (which I'll talk more about in the future) over the past six months has been tremendously costly, but your support has made it possible to get this thing out, so I want to offer a 20% Patron discount code.

When you check out, enter code: C5patreon25 and that'll do it.

Y'all, settle down with the discount code. It's only $5.55. It's mildly bogus, yeah, but I highly doubt Andrew is getting rich rn.

Michael Gibbens

I thought maybe the code would be up a bit longer. I missed it until now.

I really appreciate Andrews segmenting of the conservative and progressive radicalization that I've seen in recent interviews. It's unfortunate he didn't get to put that in front of someone in academia to contextualize it and provide additional resolution. I believe our society has placed narcissists in a slightly higher position than in other societies. It is often claimed that narcissism is positively correlated with economic status and success. With the recent peak of the American economy and the trends surrounding the Global Financial Crisis (GFC), individuals with underlying narcissistic pathologies are uniquely vulnerable. This analysis, however, doesn't account for the high-achieving, well resourced individuals who continue to lead and push for further economic liberalization, decry moral shifts etc. Some, like Kelly, may be cynically exploited by grifters for profit, while others are genuine ideologues who fear an expanded state. There's a clear connection between these conservative leaders and American revolutionary and anti-royalist movements. Individuals like Kelly, who are essentially pawns, attempt to align themselves with this ideology, but what they truly need is a robust social safety net and a society that doesn't prey on the weak and disadvantaged. They don't need to fight the red coats they are at the terminus of the American experiment in freedom, not at the onset. Callahan offers a complementary perspective on the excesses of the Democratic party, arguing that an overabundance of resources and opportunity contributes to radicalization and excessively progressive viewpoints that are impractical or even incorrect. It's, of course, easier to criticize others than to acknowledge one's own shortcomings, a trait particularly prominent in narcissists. Fascinatingly, their radicalization also accelerated around the GFC. Marc andreeson, in particular, talk about the excess of wokeism they encountered at tech companies, post-GFC era. Notably, they have no interaction with individuals like Kelly, so they are not sympathetic to that situation. It is also possible that Marc et al are narcissistic, and therefore lacking in empathic capacity or interest anyway. Likely it was not solely the GFC, but rather the decades of societal sorting through economic and meritocratic means that led to people losing connection to family and community. This excessive sorting and capital liberalization has created conditions that are not conducive stable human societies, yet. Not to mention social media. The wounded narcissists, like Kelly, can do a lot of damage but they have increasingly fewer resources in and thus probably our society will pass through a window of maximum vulnerability at which point there is diminishing risk, It is a product of their resentment (increasing) and their capacity (declining). Also it's possible that with Trump's election the resentment is muted for 4 years as they get lip service and all you can eat cake. However they may continue to have the foils in the progressives who own financial assets and may continue to experience prodding from those conservatives who also possess financial assets, The thought leading donor class. Further risk factors include changes to the information ecosphere, and the anxieties associated around the deployment of more artificial intelligence. People talk a lot about learning from failure but they don't talk a lot about learning from mental illness. We're taught to cut these people off when in actuality we just need to make sure the burden on us is managed and we need to maintain connection for the resilience of our society and ourselves. I thought it was also very endearing that Kelly was not a malignant racist or fascist except for apparently in some of those phone calls with family that were not made apparent and the profile of him and tell the intervention etc. I believe Andrew's compassion for Kelly was significantly deepened by his own hardship and the genuinely apparent compassion Kelly showed him. I understand Andrew exhibiting a degree of detachment when the intervention results falter or Kelly backslides. However, framing intervention success as solely dependent on an individual's readiness seems extremely naive. People do not make entirely free choices. They are subject to their biology, experiences, and a great deal of stochastic randomness. The proper response is an ensemble of approaches—small and large, with time gaps, and some with persistence—aiming to shift the operating point of the complex system that is an individual, especially one with mental illness. I've noticed an interesting convergence between progressives and conservatives regarding influence campaigns especially on individual behavior. While progressives typically emphasize experience, circumstances, and fortune, they sometimes, especially when politically spurned, begin to believe in free will and individual determinism for personal behavior. This seems to be a matter of self-sufficiency or defense, a way to detach themselves—a kind of "jiu-jitsu" where they use their opponent's weapon for their own benefit.

Hey, revive this promo code and I’ll buy it. I do want to watch it but I haven’t seen how you sued Fox for that moment they tried to censor you. That’s why I’m supporting you screw the mainstream media. Keep doing what you’re doing much love but 20% I’ll take any day

Chase

We need a new discount code!

Austin Bonner

yeah, same

Riley

Is the code expired for anyone else?

Nick Macaluso

Try reading "Fully Automated Luxury Communism" by Aaron Bastani. This isn't the focus of the book, but it does go into how 2008 paved the way for more radical politics.

Tristan Hughes

Well, the music in the credit sounded so good on my surroundsound, but I had it turned all the way up to hear these interviews but still fucking bad ass movie and glad I rented it

Emily Martin

I wish there were more places to get help that understood that help comes from within, an intervention is still an external event and sometimes people like this have to hit rock bottom with to really make providence towards change I was in rehab a decade to go, and I was into Buddhist theology and I couldn’t stand this saying I was helpless over my addiction because I’m the one that paid for everything and drove to everything and spent all my money in addiction, I’m not powerless over my addiction at all, and sometimes the higher power aspect was not helpful to my own accountability And even if you still realize we were gifted free will combination with divine design

Emily Martin

1:10:56 the bravery for this type of vulnerability is crazy. Impressive these are some awesome strong people.

Emily Martin

I would tend to believe that career lawyer would know how to read foreclosure But from my paralegal studies, it seems like they do most of the reading

Emily Martin

Back in the day, the underground raves outside Chicago. They would text you the address the day of and we had sexy homie dancing on tables and all kinds of beautiful shit.

Emily Martin

43:36 This is actually super bad ass and I go to small time rap shows and especially one in the tenderloin of San Francisco and this is some dope shit

Emily Martin

38:21 Same girl my dad has been stoned the whole time I remember him and I tried to get him to quit smoking weed when I was 12 and then he finally let me start when I was 18 and now I’m 33 and high every day, but I’m functioning and I live in a legal state on purpose

Emily Martin

The bathroom scene is already worth my fivedollars So much psychological food here

Emily Martin

13:52 truth hurts is true Crazy question

Emily Martin

I hope it’s OK. I’m took a screen recording of Kelly’s parking lot rant with the gun just because I admire it. Second amendment rights are awesome. I wish I could get them, but I’ve had mental health treatment in the last five years and ATF doesn’t deal with that.

Emily Martin

I’m only 12 minutes in, but it’s crazy the amount of information people will share with you if you treat them like a real human being💯 my roommate says I attract the weirdos, but that’s not really the case lol

Emily Martin

It’s not a shame to have an empathetic girl

Emily Martin

Lol I was down till $19 till tomorrow, but I’ve got groceries and legal marijuana 🥹

Emily Martin

Me too, but if it makes him and his girlfriend Jamaica have a better time in Jamaica. I’m here for it.

Emily Martin

Kinda bummed the promo code expired before i could use it😒

Flavia

Fantastic work as always boys. Really great profile piece on someone who has so obviously fallen victim to some of the more predatory aspects of American society. Hope to see a downloadable version for those of us who purchased it at some point in the future. As someone with family in the industry, it's great to see you get this documentary out there. Cheers guys

worth every bit of the 5.55. i laughed, i cried, and feel like andrew is really onto some shit with his radicalization theory

Ethan Thornton

Just finished. Great Work Andrew and Channel 5 crew. This one struck a chord with me because of how much Kelly reminds me of my own dad. The big parallel I see is ego and pride. People like this have constructed a fantasy that is not falsifiable; they are big G, "Good" and the other side is big E, "Evil". The narrative is unfalsifiable and they never have to be wrong. While saying how evil the world is they never stop to ask what are they actually doing to make it better? If you want to make the world better it's not done by harassing Planned Parenthood employees or fighting with antifa. It's done by being the example you want to see in the world.

Much respect to Andrew and crew, it was very touching and thought-provoking

Great job everybody. I watched an animated short film a couple days ago. A couple made of clay sit at a table. They are having a heavy angry argument. Suddenly, one of them passes out on the table. Out of his head, a door opens up and a tiny frail version of him comes out, saying he is sorry. “Tiny him” lies down on his partner’s hand and cuddles up crying. She then passes out and, again, a door opens up in her head and a tiny sensitive version of her comes out of her body, hugs “tiny him” and they make amends. I feel that you see the “tiny people” inside your interviewees and that Channel 5 cares about reminding us of their existence. This is why I fuck with you all so heavily. Keep talking to all of us tiny people and telling our stories. Thanks.

Nacho

Fuck bill joiner

jonah levin

I got to see dear Kelly over the summer before it's release and I love what's been added/changed in the final product.

jonah levin

Good Job man! Expired folks -> just click anyway wtf

Sergerrant

Maslow (at the end of his life) also added a 6th hierarchical dimension. self-transcendence, which is a follow-up to the 5th because self-actualization often falls into the the trap of unhealthy egoism, hedonism and even nihilism, where the ends always justify the means. This (the 6th) is quite a difficult one because it has not just the individual component but a sociatal and even global one. I keep it simple, because this might turn into a paper otherwise, by explaining self-transcendence as immediate Selbstvergessenheit, where you take a step back from yourself by devoting yourself to what is needed and meaningful right now for you and everyone involved. This sounds tough and it sure as hell is.

Movie is private after purchasing ??

Daniel Robinson

aiiiight, I caved and straight up bought the movie without the discount, since the code is expired -- your trick worked! 😁😁 great film btw

who, me

Updated code please?

Jeffrey Watters

Not the right place to be vulnerable I'm sure but I wanted to share that personally I have seen my own father lose his connection with his family as the result of hardship and seen how it changed him. I really felt a personal connection to Kelly's kids experiences. I really love how much effort the C5 team went through to see Kelly as a person and not just use him for content dogpiling on him the way so many other media outlets would have. Genuinely was a great film I'm glad to see the C5 team make more content worth supporting. ALL THAT SAID your patreon coupon code doesn't work currently and didn't work for me but I rented it anyway.

Brenden Smith

Amazing work Andrew, thanks to you and your team for everything you've put into this piece.

Fantastic film - perfect mix of humor and sincerity!

Henry Hinder

My husband and I just finished watching. We loved it. A sad tale of addiction paired with a predatory political landscape.

LC

Since you seem actually interested in feedback: First impression: Speechless. It’s so unlike anything I’ve seen and at the same time feels extremely poignant and important. Done with a refreshing amount sensitivity and having kids that were so good on camera and good at explaining themselves and their dad was unbelievable entertainment. You never attempted to diagnose anything and got a professional involved for the intervention which is good. At times I do wonder how good this expose is for his mental state and for the whole family’s sake. It’s hard not to wonder how much of this is cross the line. I’m sure you’ve thought a lot about that, and I loved every point you made at the end about what you wish could have been different. Thanks for that line about wishing they hadn’t emphasized “cannabis addiction” so much. The outro was absolutely legendary. Historic What I learned: Kelly and people like him are probably mentally ill. That doesn’t mean their family shouldn’t still love them. Grifters are real and dangerous. I don’t know man keep it the fuck up

Daniel Wolfe

Really nice to see the final edit after the screening tour. Quite a bit different and a lot more cohesive. Though I find that the message is a bit lost overall. It doesn't truly go into the specifics of Kelly's path to carrying around a "4 banger" and it doesn't truly show who he was with his family. The call at the end where he's yelling at his two kids is very revealing and casts a very different light on the rest of the story. Please take this as just my opinion and/or constructive criticism, no hate or complaining (-8 Ps- thx for the coupon code

Floodo1

All my homies hate Bill Joiner

Free Freddy B

I don't even have the option to pay with google pay, just "Link" "Card" or "US bank account"

Narwhal Ja

Sick one. Fuck Bill Joiner!

Jon Chaconas

It's very similar to Maslow's hierarchy of needs: Level 1 (foundational): physiological Level 2: safety and security Level 3: love and belonging Level 4: self-esteem Level 5 (full potential): self-actualization Ones location on the hierarchy greatly influences their own perception and reality. I find it especially useful in understanding why folks like Kelly are unable to communicate with others, even members of his own family.

DW

keep us updated on the lawsuit, gofundme for legal fees if need be

Kyle Landon

Jo, I wanna drill down on Andrew's Radicalization Theory. First of all I agree with your 3 points: 1.security, 2.significans and 3.connection. In my socialwork experience I would add the following aspects to point 2 and 3. Significans is connected with purpose or , as og Viktor Frankl would call it, meaning. There are 3 main roads to a meaningful life (a simplified version): love - as the strongest bond between people, work - without it people fall into aimless existence and become depend or fanatics, suffering - not in itself but more how to deal with it in a dignified and responsibly way. 'A man who becomes conscious of the responsibility he bears toward a human being who affectionately waits for him, or to an unfinished work, will never be able to throw away his life. He knows the "why" for his existence, and will be able to bear almost any "how".' (Frankl wrote this after surviving his time in the concentration camps). On your point Connection I would only add to the question of "Am I loved? Am i a loving person? What do my actions speak?". I think this adds the dimension of personal responsibility and in its realization will make the person see through others. As you said, connection cannot be bought. It can be given but not demanded. This might sound frustrating but also can be freeing because dependence ends. This of course needs further elaboration but I think I brought my core points across. Kudos to your work and the movie. Love what channel 5 does and continues to do! best regards from across the pond.

Sebastian von P

Channel 5 has no affiliation with that scumbag Bill Joiner.

Chad williams

He was given a reality check to where his response to his situation and where his actions have taken him. that is the purpose of the intervention. You can intellectualize why kelly did what he did all you want but ultimately his only way out is to own up to the consequences of his actions. You can't force that change or that realization, people have to arrive at that realization on their own. The intervention didn't do shit to push him further, he was already planning to move to AZ. The intervention attempted to stop that and he went to AZ anway. He was given the option to choose a different path but he wasn't ready to change. Same shit that happened to Glen in the LV tunnels episode. People end up in behavior patterns that just keep hurting themselves and those around them some of it is a feedback loop too, he feels important at these events, he gets recognized, its a community.

Adam Sitzmann

I sometimes work inside the Shady Canyon neighborhood and I would be more than willing to lose my job for the sake of journalism, if you want some footage of Bill Joiner's house or anything like that. Watched the movie last night and I'll do anything it takes to fuck over Bill Joiner.

Bryan R

I was able to pay for the movie via PayPal by having it connected to my Google pay account

Jacket

it costs less than a starbucks caramel macchiato bro

T Money

Dear Mr Callaghan, Several months ago I met an interesting character by the name of Bill Joiner. Since last year Joiner has been at various Shady Canyon functions accosting neighbors with the absurd allegation that you have defamed and slandered him. I hope that you'd be willing to talk with me about this. Maybe we can play golf sometime or perhaps meet up at a local baby parts auction? Sincerely -DW

DW

While I agree that forcing someone into therapy is only going to make things worse, this film hypothesizes that when these people are in super vulnerable states, they lose much of their agency and ability to make rational decisions for themselves, which I agree with. I am only trying to point out that Kelly's intervention also places him in this same state, therefore making it even more difficult to break out of this cycle. Andrew is an amazing journalist, I don't expect him also to be an expert on therapy and the kinda help Kelly needs. It just seems really clear to me WHY Kelly never really left the rabbit hole, I think the ending tries to suggest this is simply Kelly 'choosing' the alt-right over his family, however, I think Andrew's own Radicalization Theory demonstrates why attempting to be closer to his children again isn't nearly enough to pull him out of it.

Thomas O'Halloran

Really enjoyed this. Very well done.

John Silva

Yea but at the end of the day it’s up to Kelly to go to therapy not Andrew. He just helped get the family together. Not like you can force him to go.

Joseph Meyer

My thoughts after finishing the film: I am surprised that you believed any of Kelly's story about having lost his house. He's kind of an egomaniac and will do anything to protect his ego from accountability. My mother isn't into politics, but she's in a religious cult and she's like this too. Facts and logic, and even the begging of her children are like water off a duck. It's surprising how well his older kids are doing given the chaos of their dad. I give a lot of credit to Kelly's ex wife, she must be a good lady. I hope Sidney is able to recover. I think it would be great to explore this thesis further. The most interesting thing for me was the statistics about the participants of J6 with bankruptcy etc. I've never heard anyone posit that the 2008 crisis led so directly to Trump's rise, but it sounds plausible

Amy Cahoon

I was talking about this documentary all day to my coworkers. Really left an impact on me

Missmeowmix

i’m talking deep deep down in there… hiding underneath all of that

Sometimes I forget how crazy people can be then Andrew drops a vid like this with a dude screaming about baby parts and I just remember oh yeah, this is why the country is like this

Torin D

“Yeah man we sell baby parts, gtfo or buy, arms and legs go for 100 each and organs are 200, stop making a scene bro we tryna sell baby parts.”

Jackson Brown

we need uncle pill vid

Aatu

Dude the answer is in your own Radicalization theory, giving him an intervention and sending him to rehab for a couple of weeks didnt suddenly give him the ability to get these needs met again. If anything, it made it harder because now he feels even worse about the ways his family suffered that he didnt realise until now. Surely you can see how an intervention where hes super vulnerable and has to face all the suffering hes accountable for ALSO puts him into that same super vulnerable state where hes more susceptible to propaganda. He doesn't actually get the therapy he needs, he just gets put into another vulnerable state, if your theory is correct, then no wonder he jumps even deeper into the rabbit hole. I think its really its really unfair to give someone that kinda ultimatum without a support system to back them up. Too much pressure can cause anyone to buckle. The intervention and rehab were only the first steps of MANY that poor Kelly needs.

Thomas O'Halloran

That I agree with. Suing them after they made you out to be a normal guy is lame as fuck.

insane, top notch film

Pimpotastic

How long will the discount be active?

Eero

I feel like predatory loans is already shitty enough but to go and sue C5 after refusing to ever say a word to them is peak scumbaggery

Jake Richardson

so insanely good. had me laughing so hard and then 5 minutes later crying 🙃 like i said on ig, i really hope he gets better. he’s clearly holding so much pain in him, and there’s a tender guy in there still under it all. love how andrew covers things so transparently, and drives the narrative home in a really thoughtful way

megan

I teared up at the intervention scene. The frustration of having everything a father could want, having the children you love sitting there asking you to just get out of your own way, and the dumb irrationality of the human mind imposing itself. With family it’s hard to understand that someone is really trying their best when their handling of the world and news is so different from ours. Just remember compassion, always try to understand others more and challenge your ideas to get better ones

Jason Hommas

WELL DONE

iron buddha

I’m not really sure how you can come out of this saying “Fuck Bill Joiner”. Was the dude selling shady loans? Sure. Was Kelly fucking dumb and awful with financial decisions? Absofuckinglutley. Literally everything that happened to him is because of his own incompetence.

Connor O'Brien

My mom went through a similar metamorphosis. New age medicine -> buddhism -> fringe buddhist cult following -> antivax -> Qanon She was fired from her job as a middle school science teacher because she traveled to india to be a liaison to a bhutanese monk who was a Q follower. He got her hooked on the sauce, and she returned two months late to the semester. When she inevitably was fired, she came after the super intendant of the schools with the same fanaticism that kelly has for bill joiner. This is not an uncommon story.

Stefan Kaiter-Snyder

Ah well still liked the movie regardless.

Joseph Meyer

Just watched the film. Excellent.

Adrian Millman

I didn’t expect to bawl my eyes out during the intervention but I did as I truly felt bad for Kelly and wanted him to reunite with his family. As someone who would identify themselves as a leftist me feeling sympathetic towards Kelly was quite surprising as I would never support someone who is deeply involved in the whole MAGA movement. As odd as it sounds Kelly reminds me a bit of Bill from King Of the Hill who suffered a really bad divorce and needs to realize that his ex is never going to come back and that he needs to take accountability for his actions resulting in his divorce. This documentary was truly amazing and I wish I can see it again for the first time.

typical Ed

Discount on merch?

sabrina cruz

thats a bummer he used weed as a cop out, and the rehab place more than willing to take your money when the problem is obvious, the media he consumes is poison. No wonder he got better when he went to rehab and wasn't beating off to charlie kirk vids, they tried to treat the wrong drug and failed great vid btw, watched with the whole family :)

KKBar

Just watched this and loved the journey! Purchased it because it’s def worth it.

Ova Fofah

Incredible journey. Shame he didn’t come around and reverted almost back to square one. Makes me relieved in a small way that my Republican dad isn’t hyper online and actually listens when I complain about societal issues with open mindedness. I hope one day Kelly sees the love he’s missing but honestly I’m not sure he will 😭 my only complaint for the movie is a personal one and that the intervention is so personal I felt a little voyeuristic but I suppose the same could be said about any video depicting the struggles of an individual or family. That being said in todays climate, I think this type of honest and careful journalism is important and necessary. Kelly is an example of so many radicalized individuals and a deep look into his life is so eye opening. Really an inspirational work and as always looking forward to future videos and works. Also pretty curious to see where the lawsuit goes once Bill realizes this wasn’t a hit piece against him. Keep up the great work!

That intervention got me in tears, it hit too close to home. I think a lot of people can really relate to this story. Thank you for putting this out! Fuck Bill Joiner

Great doc man. The intervention nearly had me in tears. It’s hard coming to the truth in the old saying: “You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink”. Continue the good work bro.

prod_tfm

Looks like they made it Cast-able in the desktop browser recently. It's also easy to do via the mobile Chrome browser.

Erik Peterson

Just finished it bro. Fucking loved it. Was in tears watching the intervention. I’m very hopeful for Kelly and his family.

Ben

I found that if you open the Dear Kelly website in a mobile Chrome browser, tap the little "left arrow" icon in the player scrub bar. It will fly out some buttons including a Cast button. Tap that and you're good to go.

Came in thinking, Bill Joiner probably isn't the main problem with this guy. Came out saying, Fuck Bill Joiner! Proud to support real journalists like ya'll, mad props to your integrity!

Hey Andrew, I've been a longtime YT subscriber and, more recently, a supporter here. I just finished the Doc, bought the forever model, and I really enjoyed it. It was a surreal and tear-jerking look into Kelly's life and his journey to radicalization. While watching, I couldn't help but see parallels between my own father and Kelly. In the early 2000's my dad started a flooring business. 2008 was not kind and when all was said and done, my childhood home was foreclosed and my parents declared bankruptcy. Come 2016 my dad votes Trump and come 2020 -to present he is on the "Stolen Election" train. He swore off Fox News after they stepped back some of their positions on the election "fraud" and now his main news source is "Real America's Voice" which is constantly pumping him right-wing Propaganda. Another parallel was the unemployment, that one really hit me like a brick. My dad has been unemployed due to disability since before the 2016 election and I think this is a major factor. It is quite easy to radicalize someone nonstop consuming/immersing themselves in this stuff. All these similarities with my own experiences noted however, I really feel like you left your main thesis, "Andrew's Radicalization Theory"(ART) dangling. ART was the aspect that really drew me to this Doc and I was really looking forward to you supporting this idea that these types of life experiences are the diving board on the rim of the pool that is radicalization, but I just didn't see it, at least to the extent that much of your past content has hammered home their respective theses. Still, I enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next one!!

Not going to lie. Chief Keef was a good choice for the credits. That shit goes hard.

Desert Rat Explorations

In my 20s, I'd say I was quite susceptible to conspiracies and very into them for a long time. Maybe from 2002 ish (after 911) into the early 2010's. It seemed conspiracies were much more compartmentalized/not as mainstream and accessible, harder to dig for. I was curious, looking for "truth" and thought I knew more than others. Sometimes that feeling of "knowing" comforted me, which kept me going back. I was lonely, felt victimized, depressed for well over a decade. It took a long time to get out of that headspace. In the end, I had to deal with something tragic in my life and well... it sent me into a deep spiral of growth, acceptance, responsibility and forgiveness. I had to do some deep soul searching, healing and work on myself a lot. Now in a much better place. While in the midst of self discovery, I still remember almost naturally snapping out of looking into the rabbit hole conspiracies and started questioning them alot more. Eventually, I realized what I was consuming was typically founded in fear, and ultimately out of my control. Really glad I grew out of that, it gives me good perspective now. So from my personal experience, I empathize with people who are in the rabbit hole too deeply and can't take a hard look at themselves first. There is definitive correlation between mental health, being vulnerable and searching for answers - sometimes we seek them in the wrong place and get stuck in the pit. Excellent documentary. P.L.U.R (OG ravers will get it) - from Canada.

Wow...great film. I could not stop watching. The film definitely highlighted the humanity and complexity of Kelly as a person. The only way for us all to come together is by understanding each other. Keep up the good work on that front. Also fuck Bill Joiner 🖕

Holly B

It's a little weird that the "Premier event" is after it launches but whatever.

Nat

Yea we got your back

Nina Mcmunn

My only complaint is that it’s not like an unlisted youtube video. Or could be easily casted to my tv. Like I could you the patreon app to my Apple TV but it’s keeps glitching and the movie keeps restarting.

Joseph Meyer

Too slow homie I already payed full price :) and I gotta say fuck bill joiner

Nina Mcmunn

If you download an app called screen mirror you can broadcast it from the Patreon app

Brandon marshall

I'm willing to buy it but worried I'll just get permanent access to the same page I can't watch it on now.

Josh Piercefield

Will this cast on a Chromecast for anyone else? I can't get this to play on the TV browser or cast from my phone. 💀

Josh Piercefield

Can we get some Fuck Bill Joiner bumper stickers?

Alex Hussmann

Oh found it on mobile web browser, but not desktop. It's the little arrow on the right. Thanks for the pointer!

Erik Peterson

Just finished it. Fantastic stuff and why I am a proud Patreon. The stats about the January 6'ers and their financial difficulties did provide some pretty interesting insight I had not heard elsewhere. I do think your overall Radicalization Theory is absolutely spot on. Security. Significance. Connection. It is legit what every person ultimately wants. One thing to add... I would love to eventually be able to download a copy to stream on my own home network. I get why you did not do it yet. It just dropped and you do not want it shared where people share movies. But eventually would love to download a copy like most direct release platforms allow one to do. Just a small thing at the end of the day. Good shit no doubt. Respect.

Dirty Larry

Still lots of love Andrew and the channel 5 crew

Matt wilson

Code isn't working for me for buying the movie :(

Matt wilson

5 is the best number.

Jay Franco

Legendary… love the ending

Stephen Pierce

A bit sad we don't get to see it for free as patreons, like you said at the end it's "independently funded", ...by who exactly?

Yarno Boelens

fuck bill joiner

itsMindless

@here I have two tickets to the dear kelly premier tonight at the Huntington library and i can’t make it. I just want people to support AC and see the film. The tickets are free to whoever wants. Email me at jjkoss10@gmail.com. Really bummed i can’t make it, looking forward to watching this and catching ACs next one. bless.

Jason Koss

I too have just bought LifeTime and really wish there was a download option so I can add it to my server collection.

Andrew Bednarz

Been looking forward to this for a while, was totally worth the wait. Definitely brought a tear to my eye, and I appreciate your approach to recognizing that it isn't just a systematic issue but also a personal one. If you need any help with the lawsuits you'd better let us know, always willing to support quality journalism like this!

Tristan Hughes

Man it's sad how interventions don't really work often. I wish the best for his kids. And for him

Shawhin Layeghi

Bought the permanent access, wish I was able to catch one of the live showings

El Doinko

Since you posted the coupon after I made the purchase, I have no choice but to steal your video. It's uploaded to my mega, but I won't share it lol. It's the principle. XD. https://mega.nz/file/zxYUUT4A#

Chris

not bill joiners lawsuit.. 🖐😩

Megan thee Sheep

great movie

Yacoub Q

🙌

Heather Christeson

I get the "Cast" option in the right-click menu, but can only Cast the entire tab (not the video itself). Casting a browser tab is... okay.... but Chrome lately doesn't perform well, even with fiber internet and a fast network. Would be better if we could Cast the video itself directly from a button in the player.

Erik Peterson

Kinda wack we don’t get the full movie as a Patreon member

Hebrew Hammer

Same here, I would like to purchase this instead of rent, but only if it is something that doesn't rely on an online service being available. Most of the films I purchase through Vimeo offer DRM free downloads

SnowboardTechie

I am wondering the same, I Blu ray would smack

Myles Krisik

awesome fucking B-roll

William

Purchased lifetime just because, but hope you can get this distributed on something like the Apple TV store later—I like to have the security that my purchases live on as much as possible.

Luke Hatcher

Thanks my guy, keep up the stellar work 🫶

Ethan

Thank you for the discount code and all of the videos! Great work.

Kayleigh Murray

Is anyone else having trouble trying to pay? I’m not from the US, don’t have a credit card and my apple pay doesn’t work for some reason.

Jochem van Els

Andrew ur the best been soo exited since the previews

Luca

Man these people are NUTS 🥜

Fedora Connoisseur

Just bought it and am very excited! I'd recommend a download option for people who buy it. I know you're trying to cut back on piracy but there's browser extensions that let you download it, so you're not stopping anyone by making it less accessible to normies

First Name

Thank you for the lil hookup, Loading it up now. very excited

Giraffe X

If you expand the menu on the video, it does give an option for casting. Took me a minute to figure out :)

Braden Madison

Super stoked to watch. As always, thank for the great work you and your crew do, Andrew. The more we understand eachother, the better we can lead eachother to adapt.

QuiteTrashyAshley

Looking forward to watching this! Any chance you can allow it to be added to user Collections on Vimeo? That way we can watch/Cast via the Vimeo app so it's easier to watch on a TV. Thanks for the great work as always!

Erik Peterson

Really excited to see this. Already paid for it when you came to Portland Maine, couldn't make the show due to covid. Was definitely expecting this release to be included on patreon.

James O'Neil

Congratulations on the release, I've been looking forward to this film. Thank you for all your hard work!

William Alber

Great Job Andrew! Very Cool.

D Figueroa

didn't realize until now that I would have to pay, but it matters not. Can't wait to watch this!

DW

Fuck yeah homie. Excited as fuck to see this.

Matthew Miller (Scrub Zero)

Cant wait to get home and check it out

Michael Pelletier

Thank you for the discount. I'm excited to finally see this.

Anthony Nittolo

lets go!!! C5 worldwide

SL

just purchased can’t wait to watch it brother so proud of how far you’ve come

ChinoBandido

Hey Andrew! I'm wondering if there will ever be a DVD copy or way to download a finished file for the film? My concern with buying a lifetime access to the film is that at some point, that access will be revoked since it is being hosted on a site.

Noel

Let’s go! Not even gonna use the discount, you deserve my money!

Pablo Coria

Whoops I already bought it before you posted this lol

Chris

I'm just here for the Patron!

Gil Bert

Congrats homie. Fucking huge things happening.

Logan Icehound
