“Babysitter” Wanted

Part Four

Overall, the next two months went relatively smoothly, though there were a few exceptions.

Caleb finally worked up the nerve to tell his parents the day before he and Tommy were due to meet them for dinner. Needless to say, they were surprised, especially when they saw Caleb in person, but they ended up being super supportive. Caleb's dad was actually very happy because now, his oldest wasn't going to have a problem starting to pay off that expensive (but still rather useless) liberal arts degree.

As soon as his family knew, Caleb felt a great sense of relief, mentally, anyway. The timing couldn’t have been better because already, his belly was starting to grow. He still had many months to go before he’d experience any physical relief, but he was adjusting.

Pregnancy wasn't the first thing he thought about when he woke up. Usually, that honor went to peeing, which yes, was in a very big way, pregnancy-related. The second thing Caleb thought about now in the mornings was food.

As much as he didn't want to be, he was eating a lot. Sometimes, he subconsciously went back to his “normal” eating habits, but never for long because when he did, the boys would squirm and otherwise physically express their displeasure till Caleb relented and more thoroughly stuffed his face and stomach.

It was weird to be beholden to the whims and wants of others, but that was part of his job. Another big part of Caleb's job became making frequent trips to the store to keep the pantry, fridge and freezer all full. Even when they were, he often still found himself at the store to grab something new the babies were craving.

When a craving hit, it could be pretty intense. It was like Caleb had to eat what the babies wanted right away. Like it was all he could think about.

Something else the twenty-one year old had come to think about a lot, was his lack of communication with the Reeds. Caleb had hardly heard from the couple other than the typically short email they occasionally sent, “checking in.” At least their now electronically deposited checks kept cashing, letting him know they were still at least somewhat vested in him and their children as they traveled the world…

Even as a very young adult, Caleb found Daniel and Melanie's detachment odd. Now that he was one, he did some research on babysitters and learned that the vast majority only carried for a few days to maybe weeks at tops, while mom and/or dad got some R&R. Long-term assignments such as his were almost unheard of. The few Caleb found to reference had all been performed for medical reasons, not because mom and dad wanted to travel the world and climb its highest summit.

At the same time, Caleb appreciated the freedom Daniel and Melanie's absence afforded him. Even though he'd never done something like this before, he knew it was going to be nice to not have to deal with worried and overbearing parents, though Dr. Williams filled that role to an extent.

Due to the somewhat unusual nature of Caleb's carrying, and his close friendship with the Reeds, Dr. Williams insisted on seeing the babysitter on a biweekly basis. Every time he went in for an exam, the twenty-one year old's belly was a little bigger and that much more cramped, despite all the stretching it was doing.

The boys remained the same size, but also just as active, often using Caleb's bladder as a trampoline, necessitating more and more frequent trips to the bathroom. The girls were starting not only to grow now, but vy for more space, fighting not only their brothers, but also Caleb's more often than not, food-packed stomach.

***

By the time he was “two months” along, Caleb already looked ready to birth a large set of triplets. Sometimes, one of the boys would work itself lower into his pelvis, and rub his head against his babysitter's cervix, making him moan in unexpected pleasure.

Just as unexpected was the fact that not only had Caleb gotten accustomed to most of the babies’ movements, but he'd almost come to enjoy the squirming of his uterine invaders. It made no sense to him, but the twenty-one year old came to sort of enjoy being pregnant…

Sometimes when he thought about what he was doing, it made Caleb smile. In a way, he felt like his life had taken on more of a purpose. He reasoned he thought so because of all the hormones.

But not everything was coming up roses…

Tommy continued to be a great help and was supportive as ever. He also remained just as unexpectedly into Caleb's condition as it gradually grew and advanced. The bigger the babysitter's belly got, the more adjustments they had to make when they did it but fortunately, they always ended up making it work.

And then one day not long after Caleb hit two and a half months, Tommy came home looking a mix of upset and excited. His boyfriend became worried right away.

“What's wrong?” Caleb frowned up at Tommy from the couch, the indentation beneath him growing a little deeper and wider by the day.

“So, I um…” Tommy slowly started as he came and sat next to him. “I got offered a promotion today. A big one…”

Caleb stopped frowning and started grinning. “That's awesome, babe!”

“It is and it isn't…” his boyfriend shook his head.

He went back to frowning. “What does that mean?”

“I've been offered a two year contract as a traveling account manager.”

Caleb instantly picked up on the word, “traveling.”

Tommy nodded. “It's like ninety-five percent travel. I'd have to be on the road almost all the time for the next two years. After that, there's a really good chance I'd get assigned as a permanent account manager, but in the meantime…” he trailed off.

“Well what do you wanna do?” Caleb asked.

“I really wanna take it,” Tommy quickly admitted. “But I don't see how I can with you,” he shook his head. “I don't mean that in a bad way, I just mean…”

“I think you should take it, Tommy,” Caleb cut him off. “It sounds like a great opportunity.”

“But you…”

“Got myself into this situation and you were just nice enough to go along with it.”

“I…”

“Tommy…” he cut back in. “Even if I wasn't stuck babysitting, I wouldn't be able to travel with you.”

“Sure, you could!” Tommy disagreed “At least till you found a real job… But you wouldn't have to if you don't want! I could support you!” He nodded.

“That's sweet, Tommy. It really is, but I think this is a sign. I think everything coming together like this right now means the timing just isn't right for us,” Caleb shook his head.

Tommy sighed. “But I can't just up and leave you?!”

“Sure you can. Take the job and go and kick ass!”

“But what about you?” He pressed.

“Don't worry about me, I'll be fine,” Caleb nodded as he forced himself to smile.

***

Tommy accepted the promotion. He was given two weeks to finalize things in his current position and at home, and to get ready for life on the road.

The transition period was awkward. He and Caleb hadn't broken up yet, but both knew they were going to. They'd been dating for almost two and a half years by then and yes, were still in love, but fortunately, they were both still young.

Their relationship had been the first serious one for both of them. They’d never forget it or each other, but eventually, they’d get over it and move on. In the meantime, without mentioning it, both began breaking ties, though they continued to sleep together (in both regards) all the way up to and through Tommy’s last night at “home.”

Despite him having to leave for the airport at six in the morning, Caleb insisted on getting up to see him off. His now unspoken ex-boyfriend offered to make him breakfast as he’d come to do just about every morning, but the babysitter politely declined, feeling anything but hungry for the first time in well over a month. Caleb felt worse than he had back when he’d been dealing with morning sickness.

Tommy smiled down at him as they stood together in the foyer. “The time we spent together, it was really special.”

“It was,” Caleb agreed, smiling down at his belly, which was now only half covered by Tommy’s old football tee.

“These last few months have been… interesting…” Tommy chuckled.

The babysitter grunted in agreement. “Yeah, they have been!”

“The way it happened wasn’t how I ever imagined it, but I swear to God, Caleb…” Tommy chuckled again. “From almost the moment I met you, I knew that someday, I’d see and feel you pregnant, and I did, just…” he trailed off in a sigh.

“I’m glad you did,” Caleb quietly replied.

“Promise me you’re gonna take care of yourself.”

“I will.”

“Are you sure you don’t need me to pay the…”

“I’m sure, Tommy. And, yes…” Caleb chuckled this time. “I promise to pay the rent on time.”

“I’d appreciate that,” Tommy playfully rolled his eyes. “But I’m still worried about you!”

“I appreciate that, but you don’t need to be anymore,” Caleb shook his head. “I’m a big boy now,” he switched to nodding. “Literally!”

“Hell yeah, you are!” His hunky ex genuinely laughed before quickly apologizing.

“You’ve got nothing to be sorry about. You helped me grow a lot during our time together. You inspired me and continue to,” Caleb said. “Now I know that someday, I’ll go on to do big things that don’t include big babies or bellies!”

“Yes, you will,” Tommy smiled again before asking, “Can I kiss you one last time?”

“Please do.”

After one last long kiss, they exchanged one last misty eyed gaze and smile, and then Tommy was gone. The moment after he’d closed the door behind him, Caleb lost it.

While he’d quite literally never felt more full, all of a sudden, he’d never felt more empty. He went back to the bedroom, where he eased himself down onto Tommy’s side of the bed, which was still warm and smelled of him, and spent the rest of the morning laying there, bawling.

Damn hormones!

It was more than that though. A lot more, Caleb just didn’t want to admit, let alone think about it.

***

Caleb finally sort of got his act together around lunchtime. Following a quick but hearty meal, he headed for the shower to get ready for his three month exam with Dr. Williams.

He ended up crying more in the shower. Ever since he’d known it was coming, he’d been counting down the days till today, but now that it was here, he wasn’t nearly as prepared as he thought he’d be. He was heartbroken.

The gentle lulling of the babies helped him feel a little better, but not as much as it usually did. Still, he smiled at his belly as he watched fat beads of warm water running down it. Caleb’s smile grew a little when he saw the outline of one of the boy’s feet press out right above his belly button.

Now more than ever, Caleb could’ve resented the babies and his job, but he didn’t. Even if he hadn’t been saddled with the Reed sextuplets, he couldn’t have gone with Tommy. The whole point of becoming a babysitter had been to gain some much needed financial independence. At least now he had that.

Financial independence was one thing, complete independence was another. By that point, the twenty-one year old looked overdue with triplets, and while he’d adjusted as best he could to his growing mass, it was now growing and expanding at a rate that he never quite got ahead of things. Caleb was able to afford paying rent by himself now, but he didn’t know how long he’d be able to remain there now that Tommy was gone?

His worry grew as he struggled to climb into the Range. Even after moving the driver’s seat back a little more, it was a tight fit and already, he was testing the limits of his reach. As he headed off to his appointment, Caleb knew his driving days were numbered.

He was going to have to mention this to the Reeds, but he still rarely communicated with them. Tommy hadn’t been gone a full day and already, Caleb felt so alone despite being so full of life. He couldn’t help but cry again as he pulled into Dr. Williams’ specially reserved spot.

He got it together again but was still barely able to get a quiet “hi” out when Jessica greeted him. Used to dealing with hormonal pregnant people, the receptionist kept smiling as she showed Caleb back to his exam room where once he was alone, he changed into his gown a little slower than he had the last time.

When Dr. Williams knocked and entered, the babysitter’s mood brightened some. Caleb had yet to get over his crush on the older man, and felt his cheeks flush as pressure once again built at his groin.

That reminded him he needed to go see Andy (who was back at work now) and get a few pairs of that underwear he’d mentioned. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t help in situations like this, but at least they’d come in handy while he was out and about.

“How’re we doing today, Caleb?” The handsome doctor asked after helping the babysitter onto the bed.

The twenty-one year old forced a smile onto his own handsome face. “We’re doing.”

“Everything OK?” Williams asked, stopping what he was doing and turning to look at his patient.

Before he knew it, Caleb was in tears again. Through embarrassing blubbers and snotty sniffles, he told Dr. Williams about Tommy and needless to say, how sad and upset he was now that he was gone.

“It sucks, and…” he sniffed again, nodding his thanks as the doctor handed him a box of tissues. “I don’t know what I’m gonna do?” He continued after blowing his nose.

“I know it feels like a lot,” Williams nodded. “Maybe even like your world is ending, but…”

“I’m already having trouble fitting behind the wheel!” Caleb literally cried. “Of a huge Range Rover! And I still have six more months to go!” He blew his nose again, this time resulting in a loud honk. “I don’t think I… I can do this without Tommy!” He shook his head, sending tears and spittle flying.

“We’ll figure something out,” Williams nodded and smiled as he reached out and gently rubbed Caleb’s gown-covered swell.

The twenty-one year old wasn’t so sure. “What? How? I almost never hear from the Reeds! It’s like they… they don’t even care?!”

“They care,” the doctor nodded some more. “Really, they do. Did they talk to you about staying at their house while they’re gone?”

Caleb sniffed. “Melanie mentioned it. Sort of, but…”

“I’m sure your place is nice, but maybe staying at theirs would make things easier and a little more enjoyable for you?”

“It probably would, but I’d still be alone!” He rolled his eyes. “Unless I hire someone to basically babysit me!”

“Not necessarily,” Williams shook his head.

“Do you have a different idea?” Caleb sniffed again.

“I do. Actually, it’s sort of along the same lines, but anyway… I could move into Daniel and Melanie’s and help you as needed.”

“What?”

“I said, I…”

“I heard you,” the twenty-one year old cut in. “But I couldn't ask you to do that,” he shook his head.

“It wouldn't be an issue.”

“Wouldn’t it though? I know I’m not your only patient!”

“No, of course not, but you are my most important one. If I stayed with you at Daniel’s, I’d be closer to the office and hospital, so actually, it would be a win for me toom” Williams smirked.

“Still, I couldn’t ask you to do that,” Caleb shook his head. “I’ll figure something out. I always do.”

“I think Daniel and Melanie would actually prefer it if we did this…”

“Yeah, I’m sure they would!” The Reeds’ babysitter rolled his eyes.

“You don’t need to decide now,” the handsome doctor said. “Just think about it,” he nodded. “Now shall we get on with the exam?”

“Please,” Caleb nodded before blowing his nose one more time.

Once again, his exam wasn’t as intrusive as he’d still been expecting. Mostly, Dr. Williams just gently poked, prodded and felt around his belly, but this time, he also performed a sonogram. He was happy with how all six Reed babies were doing, especially the girls, who were developing accordingly.

Something else that was starting to develop accordingly, were Caleb’s hips. As “his” pregnancy progressed, his hips had slowly started to widen. His ass and thighs had also thickened notably thanks to all the (increasing) weight they were being forced to contend with.

“Everything continues to go well on the babysitting front,” Williams commended as he helped Caleb up. “I’m sorry your personal life has taken a bit of a turn, but we’ll get it back on track,” he nodded.

Caleb sighed and shook his head as he tugged at his gown. “I shouldn’t have done this,” he said quietly.

“This being..?”

“Babysitting for the Reeds. I dunno what I was thinking?!” He huffed. “I already feel and look like a blimp and I have so much longer to go!” He groaned as he looked down and out at himself, already seeing nothing but belly.

“If it makes you feel any better, everything is right on track… The girls are growing at a great pace, not too much or too little. This may be your first extended carrying, but you’re doing an excellent job,” Williams smiled.

“I’m glad to hear it, but no, it doesn’t make me feel any better,” the twenty-one year old frowned as he shook his head again.

“Do you have your phone with you?”

“It’s in my shorts,” he nodded at the pile of clothes he’d made on the chair he was already too big to easily sit in.

“May I?” Williams asked.

“Sure.”

He retrieved the phone and handed it over. “Take my number.”

“Why?” Caleb asked as he unlocked his screen.

“Just in case you need anything, or make a decision about my offer,” the doctor replied. “Ready?”

Caleb nodded. As he saved Dr. Williams' number, he wondered not only when he’d use it, but why?

Would it be because he’d worked up the “nerve” or because he truly needed to?

***

“Oh, Caleb… I’m so sorry, sweety!” Andy frowned and shook his head as he spread his arms. “Hug..?”

“That would be nice,” the twenty-one year old replied as he did the same.

Since Andy no longer had a big belly to contend with, he closed the distance between them and embraced his younger friend. While his middle no longer contained he and Randall's twins, his breasts now contained more milk than ever as they pressed warmly and heavily against Caleb's left side.

“When I met Tommy, I thought he was such a sweet guy!” Andy said as they hugged. “You guys were such a sweet couple!”

“He is a sweet guy, and we were a sweet couple, it just wasn't meant to be,” Caleb sighed. “It sucks, but I'm happy for him,” he said, nodding. “At least I'm trying to be…”

“If you ever need anything, you have Randall and I,” Andy said as he pulled back.

“I appreciate that, but you guys have your hands full,” Caleb chuckled.

The DTBB manager laughed as he nodded in agreement. “That, we do, but we can always take on a little more for a friend,” he winked. “That being said, it's good to know you have someone else willing to step up to the plate.”

“Are you talking about Dr. Williams?” The babysitter frowned.

“Yeah…”

He scoffed. “I can't actually take him up on his offer!”

“Why not?”

“‘Cause I barely know the guy!”

“You've been seeing him for three months now… You know him!”

Caleb nodded. “Seeing him in a professional setting, not seeing him, seeing him!” He shook his head. “We can't move in together!” He scoffed again. “That, and I don't feel comfortable moving into some strangers’ mansion!”

“They're not strangers,” Andy disagreed. “You know them!”

“Barely!”

“You're carrying their children, and you're driving one of their cars!” He reminded. “They're not strangers!” He emphasized again. “And your doctor is their friend!”

“I think that only makes it weirder!”

“Yeah, a little…” Andy relented.

“Can we start shopping now, please?” Caleb requested.

“Sure!” The DTBB manager grinned. “Some good ol’ retail therapy always helps make you feel better!” He nodded. “What're we looking for today?”

“Some more of everything,” Caleb replied. “This time including bottoms, ‘cause, well…” he sighed. “According to hunky Dr. Williams, my bottom is growing now too!” He groaned.

“I couldn't help but notice…” Andy chuckled.

“Ugh…” his younger friend groaned again. “Oh, before I forget, I wanna get a few pairs of those briefs you mentioned.”

“Briefs?”

Caleb nodded. “The ones that help keep you contained…”

Andy's eyes widened. “Oh!”

“Why do you sound and look so surprised..?”

He chuckled. “Did I say they were briefs..?”

“You said underwear.”

Andy chuckled again. “There are many different kinds of underwear, Caleb, and the ones I mentioned aren't briefs,” he shook his head.

The younger man frowned. “Well then what are they?”

“Thongs.”

“Thongs?!” He huffed.

“Thongs,” Andy confirmed with a nod.

“Well, aren't there…” Caleb started to ask.

“Yes, there are other varieties,” Andy cut back in. “But they're not worth it,” he shook his head. “The thong versions are the best. Something about…”

“Having a thick piece of floss between your asscheeks helping?” Caleb correctly guessed.

“Exactly!”

“Ugh…” he groaned again. “Fine. Are they comfortable?”

“Hardly!” Andy grunted as he shook his head. “But they are worth it,” he went back to nodding.

“Can I return them if I don't like them?” Caleb asked, raising his brows, already knowing the answer.

“Would you wanna buy a used thong?” Andy asked, raising his brows even higher.

“Depends on who used…”

“No, you cannot return them, so maybe you should…”

“Then I’ll start with one then,” Caleb cut back in.

“Smart man,” Andy nodded.

“Only on the increasingly rare occasion,” the twenty-one year old sighed and shook his head before suddenly wincing, groaning and clutching the sides of his belly, which was now notably bigger than Andy's had been the first time they'd met.

“Everything OK..?”

Caleb nodded. “So long as you tell me you have a bathroom in here that I…”

“Say no more!” Andy cut him off as he grabbed his hand. “This is a DTBB! Of course we have a bathroom!” He laughed and shook his head as he started dragging the younger man not further into the store, but back towards the front.

Just inside “The Barn,” to the right, were two doors Caleb hadn't noticed till then. After letting go of his hand, Andy moved behind him and slowly and gently pushed him towards the closer one, before “rushing” around in front of him and opening the door.

“Take your time,” he smiled and nodded as he ushered him in. “While you're taking care of business, I'll start pulling some stuff I think you'll like.”

“Thanks…” Caleb exhaled in relief as he waddled into a bathroom, the likes of which he'd never seen before…

It was a single bathroom, but it was huge. So big, it was almost the size of Caleb’s bedroom… Not only that, it was also equipped to handle someone with dimensions as awkward as his own. For starters, there were support rails lining each wall. While he didn’t need them yet, already, he appreciated them.

More so at the moment, he appreciated the fact that the toilet was taller than any other he’d seen. Wider too. Unless he peed while he was in the shower, Caleb already sat every time he needed to go in order to avoid making a mess.

After Andy closed the door behind him, as the twenty-one year old waddled towards the toilet, the extra-large porcelain throne suddenly made an unexpected sound… At first, thanks to his belly, Caleb couldn’t see what was happening, but as he slowly turned to the left, he saw the toilet automatically covering its seat with a disposable, protective lining, meaning he didn’t have to worry about covering it with toilet paper before sitting.

“Sweet!” He grinned before almost just as quickly turning his newly formed smile into a frown.

He frowned because something lame had just dawned on him. Something very lame… He’d just gotten excited by a toilet. An accommodating toilet, specifically because it was accommodating and therefore, easier for him to use.

“Ugh…” he groaned as he turned around, pulled his shorts and underwear down around his thighs, and lowered himself onto the self-proclaimed “sweet” toilet.

At least his thickening legs didn’t have as much work as they usually did before his fattening ass touched down. That and at least the protected seat was surprisingly warm. Automatically heated.

Small victories.

***

Caleb left The Barn an hour or so later, with several bags full of things he’d unfortunately grow to need (if he hadn’t done so already.) Once again, Andy gave him a discount, which was much appreciated, and they made plans for Caleb to come over soon to officially meet the twins.

Also once again, the twenty-one year old was unable to resist making another stop at Auntie Anne’s on his way out of the mall. At least he hadn’t also stopped on the way in, but to make up for his missed visit, he got himself and the babies four delicious pretzels.

He was halfway through his first, and almost halfway back to the Range when his phone rang. Caleb took it from his pocket and looked at the screen he’d already accidentally gotten greasy with his buttered fingers.

The number wasn’t unknown, but he didn’t recognize it. It was long and foreign.

“Hewwo?” He answered as he finished the last of his mouthful.

“Caleb, it's Daniel Reed.”

“Oh, hey!” He said in surprise. “How's the…”

“I just talked to Evan and he told me about your boyfriend. Tough break, man.”

Caleb wasn’t surprised. He’d known Dr. Williams was going to get in contact with his best friend sooner or later, he just hadn’t expected it to be this soon.

“Thanks. It’ll be an adjustment, but I’ll…”

“You and Evan should stay at our place. Not only would it make things easier for you, it would make Melanie and I feel a lot better,” Daniel said after once again, not letting Caleb get out a complete sentence.

“I’m thinking about it,” the babysitter replied, not being entirely honest because while he kind of was, he just as much wasn’t.

“There’s nothing to think about! Whatever you need going forward, just let Evan know and he’ll take care of it, OK? I’m serious… Whatever you need or want, you get. Deal?”

“I appreciate the offer, I really do, but…”

“I talked with our movers and someone should be reaching out to you to coordinate getting your things over to our place, unless you want them put in storage?”

“Oh, wow! Um, yeah…” Caleb laughed anxiously. “I don’t think I need to speak with anyone from your movers… I think I just need to take some more time to…”

“There’s not any furniture you want to move in with you?”

“Furniture?!” He laughed again. “I don’t even know if I want to move in!” He said, finally getting the chance to finish a damn thought!

“Well then how ‘bout I make it easier for you to decide? What if we paid you to move in?” Daniel asked. “And paid for you to keep your apartment?”

Caleb’s eyes bulged almost as much as his belly already did. He hadn’t been expecting that. The offer wasn’t ideal, but it was something he could not only live with, but be much more comfortable doing so. Once his babysitting gig was over, he’d have a place to go back to.

“Yeah…” he said slowly, still considering the Reeds’ most recent proposition. “That could…”

“Perfect!” Daniel cut him off. “I’ll email the movers and tell them nevermind, then I’ll let Evan know we’re good to go and he can just help you move in. Sound good?”

“It does,” Caleb conceded. “But I’d still like to…”

“Feel free to take whichever bedroom you’d like, ours included.”

“Thank you, Mr. Reed, but really, I…”

“Mr. Reed is my father!” Daniel laughed. “Oh and by the way, we have a maid that comes every other day. Would you like us to have her come everyday instead?”

“Every other seems fine, but…”

“Ooh! Gotta go! Melanie needs me for something. Evan will be in touch soon, and Mel and I will try to be too, but service here is…”

Just as Daniel began to mention the spotty cell/satellite service, the call cut out. Caleb was still processing things when all of a sudden, his phone rang again and this time, it was Dr. Williams calling.

That was quick. Weirdly so.

“Hello, doctor,” Caleb said after accepting the call.

“Feel free to call me Evan, now that we're going to be roommates,” the hunky doctor replied with a chuckle.

“OK…” the twenty-one year old couldn't help but giggle back as he felt his cheeks flush.

“Send me your address so I can come over and help you pack.”

“Right now?! I haven't even gotten home yet! I stopped at the…”

“Send me your address now, so I have it, but then I'll give you a couple hours to get ready. Sound good?” He asked, same as his bestie had.

“Evan, I…”

“Don't overthink it, Caleb, just go with it. It'll be for the best.”

“I mean it probably will,” Caleb relented. “But…”

“Send me the address. Now I need to go ‘cause I have a patient, but…”

“See! You have other patients!” The twenty-one year old pointed out in a vain attempt to protest.

“That I'll actually be closer to staying at Daniel's and therefore better able to quickly serve them when needed!”

Caleb sighed. There didn't seem to be a way out of this, but was that such a bad thing? Sooner or later (probably sooner) he was going to need more help so having Dr. Williams, Evan, around, would come in handy. And the apartment would be paid for, not by him, and ready for his return once the Reeds got back.

He promised to send Evan his address, then set to packing.

***

Packing didn't take long. All Caleb brought were his toiletries, the clothes that currently fit him, a few pairs of shoes, his laptop and phone. He was ready to go when Evan showed up to retrieve him.

“I was expecting you to have more stuff,” the doctor said as he hoisted Caleb’s bag onto his shoulder.

“Didn't see the point since most of my clothes don't fit anymore and I'm coming back,” the twenty-one year old replied as he slowly led the way out.

Evan loaded his stuff in the back of the Range Rover, something Caleb could've still managed for himself, but he appreciated the help. He also appreciated how the handsome doctor opened his door for him and made sure he'd crammed himself behind the wheel before closing it.

As Caleb followed Evan over to the Reeds’, he wondered how long it would be till they had no choice but to ride in the same car? Evan had a nice, slate gray Denali that would (hopefully) accommodate him when the time came, so at least there was that.

When they got to the less than humble abode, Evan came around to help Caleb out. Once they were inside the mansion, the doctor carried both their bags upstairs and deposited Caleb's in Daniel and Melanie's room without asking.

“Oh, um…” the twenty-one year old began to protest.

“It's the biggest room with the biggest bed and bathroom. You'll thank me later,” Evan winked. “I'll be just down the hall,” he said as he took his bag and headed out. “Start thinking about dinner,” he said over his shoulder. “And don't worry about me… I'll eat whatever you guys and girls want.”

“OK,” Caleb replied with a grin he couldn't help as a sense of warmth and comfort spread through him, the likes of which he hadn't felt since Tommy had still been around.

He had someone to care for him again. As much as he kept telling himself he didn't need it, he did, and he liked it.

The babies weren't craving anything for dinner, but he was: Chinese. More familiar with the area, Evan pulled up the menu of a place nearby on his phone, and handed it over to Caleb to place his order.

“That should do,” the twenty-one year old said a couple minutes later, once he'd made his selection. “Thanks,” he smiled as he handed Evan his phone back.

The doctor didn't smile as he looked at his screen. Instead, he shook his head and held his phone back out. “You only ordered one dish.”

“Yeah…” Caleb nodded.

“You're eating for seven!”

“It's a large, combination lo mein with extra meat, meant to serve two people!”

“You're eating for seven!” Evan reiterated as he gently wagged his phone, indicating he wanted Caleb to take it back and evidently, keep ordering.

“I'm gonna be the size of this house soon, aren't I?” The babysitter groaned as he took the phone and added a large order of orange chicken to the cart before handing it back. “There, is that enough?”

“For now,” Evan smiled this time as he ordered something (one thing) for himself.

The food arrived within half an hour (which Caleb kept in mind for the next time he or the babies were craving Chinese.) He and Evan went to the kitchen, where the doctor set out their food, and started to get to know each other a little better as they dug in, right out of the Styrofoam containers.

Evan was thirty-three, twelve years older than the babysitter. He talked some about what he did but more so, how much he liked it.

“I love it, actually,” he clarified through a mouthful of crispy beef and fried rice. “There's just something so… cool about helping people bring children into the world.”

“I'm sure there is,” Caleb nodded as he chewed on some more orange chicken, which was some of the best he'd ever had.

“You know there is!” Evan smirked at him as his eyes drifted to what he could see of his belly from across the table. “You play an even bigger role in that than I do!”

“Unfortunately, in the literal sense,” the babysitter sighed as he stabbed his fork into another saucy piece of chicken. “So would you ever get pregnant?” He asked before popping it into his mouth.

Evan laughed and shook his head. “Not if I could help it! If my partner couldn’t carry for some reason, then maybe, but otherwise..?” He trailed off with another shake of his head.

Caleb’s eyes narrowed a little. The sexy, older doc had said “partner,” not “girlfriend” or “wife.” Not that they even needed to, but most straight guys made it a point to let their sexual preference be well-known, whereas some gay guys could be a little more discreet. Interesting…

“You don’t think you’d be able to handle it?” He teased as he chewed.

“Honestly? No!” Evan chuckled.

“Come on, now…” Caleb goaded. “Being pregnant would be easy for a big, strong guy like yourself!” He nodded.

“Maybe” the doctor relented. “But still, I’d rather leave it to experts like you,” he winked.

The babysitter’s cheeks flushed at what was intended to be a “compliment,” even if he didn’t take it as such. “I wouldn’t call myself an expert,” he shook his head.

“You are still pretty early in your career… How long do you see yourself babysitting? Evan asked.

“After this, I plan on giving myself a break and reevaluating things,” Caleb replied, which was honest in a way.

“I think that’s fair enough,” the doctor nodded as his gaze shifted to the containers on the table in front of the babysitter. “See, someone was pretty hungry,” he nodded at them.

The twenty-one year old looked down at what remained of his food and was instantly surprised. While he and Evan had been talking, he’d cleared almost both of the large containers without even realizing it.

“Oh, wow!” He said with an embarrassed laugh. “Shit… I didn’t mean to eat that much, that quick!”

“Your body knows what it needs.”

“Ugh…” he groaned.

“Remember, you’re…”

“Eating for seven, I know,” Caleb rolled his eyes as he set his fork down.

He’d been eating a lot more as of late, but now, under the watchful eye of his new roommate/doctor, the twenty-one year old suddenly felt not only quite full, but also quite self-conscious about it.

“You sure you’re done?” Evan asked. “You only have a little left…”

“I’m sure,” Caleb exhaled as he gently set his hands on the bulging sides of his belly, which felt particularly tight at the moment. “I think if I took one more bite, there’s a good chance I'd pop, which would make both our jobs a little more complicated, wouldn’t it?” He laughed at his own, bulbous expense.

“That it would.”

“Thanks again for dinner. It was delicious. Can I Venmo you our half?”

“No need,” Evan shook his head.

“Well then I’ll get dinner tomorrow night, and maybe we should make a shared grocery list so we don’t end up doubling up on stuff,” Caleb suggested.

“We can do that, so long as you don’t mind sharing?”

“I may be eating for seven, but I'm not greedy, and we’re sharing a house now, aren’t we?” He smirked across the table at the sexy older man.

“We are.”

“Oooof!” He exhaled again as he rubbed big, slow and wide circles around his pregnancy.

“Everything OK?” Evan asked as he set his fork down.

Caleb nodded. “Just really, really full.”

“You’re not used to that yet?” The doctor chuckled.

“Not quite…”

“Well you know how it is with Chinese… One minute you’re stuffed, the next, you’re starving again!” He winked.

“That’s true,” Caleb nodded again. “I think in the meantime, I’m gonna go lay down.”

“Need a hand?” Evan asked as he readied to stand, but Caleb waved him off.

“I can still…” he paused to grunt as he placed his right hand on the table and used it to help him back to his feet. “Manage for now, but don’t worry… I’m sure you’ll be having to helping me more than you’d probably like, soon enough!”

“I won’t mind,” Evan shook his head as he stood and started clearing the food.

The babysitter rolled his eyes again. “You say that now…”

“And I’ll say it again, so I’d try and get used to it now if I were you.”

“There’s a lot I’m still trying to get used to,” he chuckled as he tugged at his hem, which had ridden up an inch and a half or so over the course of dinner.

The moment he stopped tugging on it, it promptly shot back up. With his stomach now packed with food, Caleb felt as big as a bus, and he still had months of growing left to go. He sighed and shook his head as he looked down and out at himself.

“Go lay down,” Evan said. “Take a nap. You’ll feel better when you wake up,” he nodded, as if he’d been reading the younger man’s mind.

“Alright,” Caleb nodded, forcing himself to smile as he made a very wide turn and headed for the stairs, which he slowly and carefully ascended. “Woof…” he muttered under his breath.

Speaking of his breath, the twenty-one year old was slightly out of it by the time he made it to the Reeds’ room, which now belonged to him, oddly enough. Like the rest of the house, it was massive and nicely appointed, easily the nicest place he’d ever slept in before, but doing so was also going to take some getting used to… As he closed the double doors behind him then turned to face the bed, Caleb imagined the Reeds lying in it together. Gross…

The bed was freshly made by the maid Caleb had yet to meet, so at least he didn't have to worry about changing the sheets now or at any point during his stay. At the moment, all the twenty-one year old had to worry about was digesting all the food he'd just scarfed down and feeling (slightly) less bloated.

After pulling back the sheets, Caleb decided to strip down to his birthday suit, which was his preferred attire while sleeping. As he eased down onto the bed and felt the luxurious sheets against his skin, he was glad he'd made the extra effort, even if he only planned on taking a short nap.

With a grunt, the babysitter worked himself closer to the middle of the big bed, then placed his hands behind his head against the pillows. As he quickly got comfortable, fortunately, he stopped thinking about the fact he was lying on Daniel and Melanie's bed, and started thinking about their sexy doctor friend downstairs.

As soon as he started thinking about Evan, Caleb's dick quickly became rock hard. (Extra) bloated and sleepy as all the Chinese food had made him, he took his trusty right hand from behind his head and moved it down beyond his belly.

As he started slowly perking himself off, he tried not to think about how big and huge he already looked and felt. Caleb closed his eyes and moaned as he imagined Evan in bed with him, helping him reach a much needed climax before an equally needed nap, but yeah, right…

Right?
