Wanted to make a quick video on how i currently make kicks and snares.
(Sorry about the video production quality this was meant to be a "quick tip" but ended up being a bit longer haha)
Its a bit of an updated process to what i've previously shown on the channel, one thats much more straightforward and mitigates the need to replace each and every audio sample which i have tediously done for years and years haha .
I'm sure some of you already have a similar technique, but i just wanted to show mine!

I think that dip on the 4th cycle of the kick is from the amplitude filter on Kick2. There’s a little dip drawn in after the initial transient

2025-02-17 08:56:38 +0000 UTCi dont synthesise my snares yet no, i may find use for it one day but every time ive dived into it its never really clicked for me, im almost there i think though, i'm starting to crave a little more control over my snares these days lol
