I dnf'd A Gentleman's Gentleman cause it was....fine. I'd be curious to hear your take on it but not enough to miss out on some of the other options.

2025-10-20 22:49:33 +0000 UTCI’ve had An Island Princess Starts a Scandal on my TBR for a while so I voted for that. I did know it had such a fascinating sounding sequel! Definitely bumping it up my list and adding that second book too.

2025-10-20 19:38:55 +0000 UTCit's been a while since we had a poll where all the options were this strong! I had a hard time narrowing it down to just four

2025-10-20 19:16:04 +0000 UTCvoting for a shore thing! I like Johanna Lowell's writing, and I thought the premise was quite cute. She's coming out with a new one about lesbian archaeologists that sounds really good. I'm also currently reading Lady Like by Mackenzi Lee which is also a really good gay historical

2025-10-20 19:05:50 +0000 UTCI voted for Ladies in Hating because I love a Gothic, but these all sound really good! Or at least interesting

2025-10-20 18:16:40 +0000 UTCI’ve read a shore thing - it was cute and imo the best read by that author. A gentleman’s gentleman was good too iirc

2025-10-20 18:15:48 +0000 UTCadding almost all of these to my potential TBR... voted for an island princess because that one seemed the most fresh within the genre, though shore thing was a close second
