Playtesting of the Intake Interview begins with the ghost wax creative team January 27th and will open to Metalander+ patrons next month!
we are about to take our first baby step into adapting ghost wax as an rpg! I have nearly finished work on the character creation process, a modification of the Nocturne and Whim the Grim process where a session 0 you, the other players and a dm create characters together during The Intake Interview.
“In a darkened room beneath a single moth swarmed light an unseen figure of authority asks you strange and probing questions in a voice familiar and undeniable. You answers, knowing each word has great import… does you life depend on your answers? Or do your answers shape your life?”
Each answer populates your character sheet, from class, to facets and flaws, to mysterious omens in the stars hanging over you. At the end of the process you are ready to begin play.
