2024-08-10 17:01:22 +0000 UTCwhat makes it worse is that Stefan's humanity was on when he did this, he knowingly drove her down wickery bridge where her parents died, and force fed Elena her blood to get back at Klaus. this was so messed up of Stefan to do man. the trauma and survivors guilt she must have felt at that moment was immense. I feel so bad for Elena.

2024-05-06 15:20:36 +0000 UTCI absolutely hated Stefan for what he did to Elena. Humanity on or off he knew this would give him the most believe reaction from Elena and he took advantage. To be one up on his enemy he traumatized the girl he supposedly loves. He could have threatened to kill her from any where, he could have told Klaus heâs pushing her off a cliff, instead he chose the one place that truly began the tragic life of ElenaâŚ. He chose winning and revenge over Elena. One thing for sure though I wasnât too surprised he would pick the cruelest route. This was pretty much the scene that took me from being ok with Stefan to absolutely despising him. Not a fan of people that like to act righteous but deep down they are Darkness.

I think threatening you vs someone actually killing your little brother (while not knowing that he has on the ring, but still doing it out of spite) are two very different things. one is attacking you personally (which is bad), the other is someone killing your baby sibling in front of you bc they're mad at you. its so different.

2024-05-05 22:48:18 +0000 UTCI completely agree that the action was horrible, no argument there. My only point was that I couldnât compare it to killing a sibling. Also, yes they are all killers - and there are still âmoralâ parameters within the show (or within their vamp world) that I do think matter and differentiate characters one way or another.

2024-05-05 18:26:22 +0000 UTCYouâre probably right, Stefan may have been bluffing about driving Elena off Wickery Bridge. His actions may even have been justified. But Elena didnât know that he was bluffing, especially after Stefan force fed her his blood. Stefanâs behavior was both calculated and cruel. He was totally aware of how traumatizing his actions were for Elena, but in the moment he didnât care, at least not enough. Besting Klaus mattered more. Look, I love both Damon and Stefan, but to me any implication that one brother is somehow better than the other or more worthy of love or forgiveness makes little sense. They, like pretty much everyone else on the show (at one time or another), are killers. I feel like either they all can be forgiven and redeemed or none of them can.

As for Stefan and Elena - I don't think for 1 second that he would actually kill her, it was all bluff for Klaus. Threatening to drive her off the bridge cannot compare to someone killing her brother (reversed or not).
