I would like to share some info about the upcoming module release and features because we are getting closer to the day when Foundry 0.8.x will be released and this has its own effects on the DDB Gamelog module.
From 31 May:
- DDB Gamelog (version 0.10.2) will be considered as a legacy module and will work only with Foundry version <= 0.7.10.
- DDB Gamelog (version 1.2.2) will have long term support, and it will continue evolving but it will be compatible with Foundry version >= 0.8.5
The legacy version of the package won't get updates anymore (if it is a blocker issue of course I will fix it) but the new features will come only into the LTS (1.2.2+) version of the module.
Upcoming features with version 1.2.2
- D&D Beyond character avatars in roll messages (for Gamelog Basic subscribers and above)
- Roll quick actions like apply damage, heal, etc... (for Gamelog Basic subscribers and above)
- Roll privacy options (for Gamelog Basic subscribers and above)
- Official Monster roll support* (for Gamelog PRO subscribers and above)
- Adds support to use DDB Importer's data to auto create mapping between D&D Beyond monster entity and Foundry NPC Actor.* (for Gamelog Basic subscribers and above)
Upcoming fixes and QoL improvements with version 1.2.2
- Full roll parsing rework to provide valid Foundry roll object
- Adds core version checking
- Adds compatibility fixes with Foundry 0.8.x
- Connection improvements
What will come next?
I will work mainly on full automation and to support targeted rolls.

That is for now. I hope you all will like the new features. It's a quite large patch in the life of the module, so expect issues, but I will fix them as soon as I noticed them.
