It started off with "We ask only for $1-2 (you can make that higher if you are a money bag fancy pants)." And now patrons are locked out of content for not giving enough money. That's disappointing.

2019-05-14 09:35:44 +0000 UTCI think the reason is that longform gameplay generally does extremely poorly on youtube, which affects overall recommendations. Patreons are more likely to want to see that stuff, so this is trying to balance the requests by patreons for longform stuff while not reducing their chances of blowing up even more.
