To the Future

Hello everyone, I hope this finds you well. This is a combination post I have been writing for a while now  to pair with a video tonight discussing a few things. When I started this a few years ago I had a single purpose, kick depressions ass and unite as many people as possible. Early on people asked us to set up a Patreon and the rest is history. Through your support you have allowed us to live a semblance of a normal life whilst giving us a platform to make our voice heard. For a while this has been a rudderless ship, just sailing, not knowing the course but knowing the general direction we were headed.

Recently you have likely seen a difference in content, in both amount and creativity. Things have never been clearer now. My pain is still here but I wake up in the morning with purpose, bursting with ideas and drive and I get on with my day, in particular the past month has been rough (Will go into this soon, talking is important!) but even through the worst days I'm thinking of new ideas. This will impact everything greatly. I'm slowly feeling like me, I haven't felt like this in probably 5 years+. It is incredible. I wouldn't be here without you all.  I have put a huge amount of time and effort into upgrading some core features lately, it has been rocky and there have been awful issues but it seems to be smoothing out now. I care, every little mistake or audio imperfection I hear. It exists. I am on a never ending road to upgrade our quality and I think the next step is to take a sound engineering course (I'm pretty passionate about it and it has real world uses too)

The next year is going to be big for us, we are going to start putting out more professional based content such as reviews, trying to build the channel and the brand and try and make this an actual career. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved so far but have to face facts. At current we make a drop of what would be needed to actually start saving to make a life. The base has been built, it is strong, sturdy. Our formula is good, our creativity is fire (Not to toot my own horn) and we have the best damn fan base in the world. Let's see where this crazy road goes together. I think we can make something very unique and I can't wait to share more with you. PokeButtz is just the tip of the IceBerg

This is  your hub, so far I have been doing 2 scheduled solo streams a week and 1 duo stream with Gabriel as well as a Patreon Exclusive stream on YouTube on Tuesdays and I am super happy with this so far. The website has had a major coding change and back end changes to make things smoother, it is also going to undergo a visual change too. Lastly on the visual/design aspect I have recently reached out to Matthew Muhart (The wonderful artist who did the Big Gabriel Little Aaron drawing and some amazing LDO artwork) to help find our visual style for thumbnails (and be pretty damn unique too)

The last part of this I want to talk about current Patron Tiers. The response to the rewards are OVERWHELMING. I never expected so many people to want to support us. The shirts and other bits coming in your Patron packaging are very very special. A lot of time, thought and effort are going into these to say thank you for everything you've ever done for us over the years.  This also means for future new patrons we are changing things a bit. I can't give the details yet until they are finalised at the moment but expect similar to current tiering, except things like the shirt wont be customised per person etc. We will be retiring current tiers at the end of this month. If you have signed up to this tier or sign up to it before the end of the month you can stay on this tier if you wish. This will not effect your t-shirt or package in the slightest! You will still receive all the benefits for whatever tier you have selected even if you just sign up before month end! You will not lose anything, this is just for new patrons going forward.  If you have any questions about this please ask! Lastly: if you have sent me your address one more step: Send me another message telling me your favourite game/colour/pop culture theme (Sci-fi, apocalyptic etc)

This is exciting times for us and I think it will be the Best year of content going forward yet. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for your time, your kindness, your patience.
