January updates
Added 2021-02-02 20:16:03 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
We're happy to announce that we're working on a C version of Left, the straggler of the gang. It's not done yet, we need to implement insert mode, and sort out a few remaining bugs.

EXED
Our tiny collection of graphical tools is growing. We wrote Exed, a hex editor, created to inspect and edit binary files. It can display sprites in the .chr format.

It is currently used in the creation of Famicom projects such as spacetime, the 1bit illustrations of the Neauismetica and the interface design of all the ecosystem tools, including Orca.
DITO

We also wrote Dito, an image dithering editor. Dito is a tool to convert bmp images to the .chr format, designed to be used with Nasu for the creation of Famicom projects.
WIKTOPHER

We've added new creatures to the growing story lexicon, and released chapter 13: The Ilk Town of Balandri.
In other news, we're re-titled the North Pacific Logbook, it's now called Busy Doing Nothing, an homage to our favorite Ergo Proxy episode. We're still proofreading the text and making final adjustments.

Cheers everyone!

I built Dito and modified it to support 400x240, and it's very cool! Though I'm not quite sure what the 4 pickers are doing. Maybe with more use. Afterwards I added ordered dithering to my own tool. So thanks for providing the impetus for me to do that!

2021-02-03 10:18:39 +0000 UTCI'd like to try Dito to process graphics for my work-in-progress Playdate games (400x240 pixels). I currently use a web-based tool of my own, but of course it doesn't have a technique like Dito is doing. I'll take a look at building the source. Cheers!
