Hello friends.
When doing these "On this day" posts, I come across a number of totally random articles that make no sense as to why they're even listed. Today was the same... (1906) Flagpole at the White Sox ballpark breaks during pennant-raising. I'm not sure what relevance this holds in history, and I'm only mentioning this because there wasn't a great deal else to make a post on.
